Mate me weren't favourites today so why are people so angry at losing a game where we clearly were an outside bet? It's football, it happens
Because we WERE favourites going into the HOME game...
And they won that too!

It can't work BOTH ways, and yet it does whenever we play Chelsea or ArseAnal... we always seem to come out losers, regardless of the 'narrative' going into the game!
THAT'S what hurts!

Not having a striker has got nothing to do with our our general tactical approach today. We had Kane and Son against Chelsea at home (and Sissoko for those saying he’s a miss) and were even more passive and inept in that game. Had less of the ball, and one shot on target (7 today).

They were NEVER gonna get the VAR decisions against them TWICE in a week...
The Man Utd result was the WORST thing that could have happened to us!

But we also beat a Man City team that were favourites against us barely a couple of weeks ago, minus Kane etc. In football you get good results sometimes, sometimes a bad result surely that's the game ain't it?

You say when we play Chelsea or Woolwich we always seem to come out losers. What's our record against both clubs over the past 5-6 years? I bet it ain't no as bad as you think it is.

Mebbe.
Who's to know that if they had won, what they make take into today. Could've been a hiding.

Feels like we are smashing jigsaw pieces that aren't right into the puzzle.

The most frustrating thing is his refusal to play parrott. Dortmund has a 19 year old and a 17 year old playing as we speak and they are up 2-0. We have nothing to lose so Jose really needs to play him
Mate, if we played Parrott do you think Jose would drop playing his low-block defence? If you do then it's a good idea to give the young lad a go.

If like me that you know he'll set up his team this way (just has he's been doing almost since he's been here) then best we leave the lad far away from the side. It will destroy him. Jose will probably hook him off at half time as he did to Dele because he thinks a makeshift striker should be banging in the goals when you only have 30% possession and hoof the ball into the channels whilst still sat on the edge of our own box.

We have just been played off the park for the umpteenth time this season (including games we won).

That was an utter disgrace of a performance AGAIN, who else should be criticized other than the Manager who's putting us out like this, the Club cat?

It was a poor performance yes but the manager can only put out the team from what’s available and let’s face it the present team is mostly either not good enough, off form or not fit enough so ANY manager in charge would struggle

I hate losing to these cunts so I’m major pissed off

I think you can analyse the players performance and the manager’s individually.

The players were not good enough today. The manager certainly wasn’t.

I see Southampton and Brighton teams with infinitely worse players attempting to win games every week. I see no reason why without Kane and Son we can’t attempt to do that.

We have played the last 2 games in a desperate attempt not to lose, relying on a defence that has been pourous for over a year. It’s suicide.

Not having a striker doesn’t have much to do with us conceding first inside the first 15 minutes in every other game.
