Supporters Rudiger claims he heard monkey chants

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don’t think MVP MVP is a wum. People with strong opinions should inspire debate and thought. But I just don’t get this argument at all. As I’ve admitted, I’m not too bright, but just don’t see how this is still an issue other than Rudiger keeps dragging it up and even some of our own fans are lapping it up as if it’s somehow gospel because an oppo player dreamt it up and won’t let it go.
MVP MVP is a top man!

People who pull the racist card or look for racism that isn’t evident are as bad as the racists.

It’s been proven that there was no monkey chants or any act of racism and yet some are still trying to claim there was.

I thought David Badiel was deluded........

It’s Rudiger that keeps flogging it to death though. Why not accept that being booed is part of the wonderful entertainment that is sport?. There is always a bad guy or the team you hate. He just happens to be the bad guy in the eyes of a lot of Spurs fans. Has nothing to do with his colour. He is making it about colour and instead of leaving it be, he is compounding it by blaming the nasty Spurs fans for racist booing in spite of an exhaustive enquiry through the club and the Police the first time around.
Think that Rudiger needs to have his hearing checked - he claimed to hear monkey chants, not booing. Quite a difference IMO, and if I had been at either game, I would have booed him as well.
All I'm concerned with is the good name of our Club, and how this individual is diverting the attention from his bad behaviour. I don't care if he's white, black, green or yellow with pink stripes, he's a tool IMO.

We can all hear what we WANT to hear... sometimes people are mistaken by what they THINK they heard...

Now I know Chris Jarvis didn't say "cunt".. YOU know he didn't say "cunt, but even though it did sound like it.... doesn't mean it IS though!

You are just saying that you ‘think’ that he might have heard them which suits your WUM agenda like it does on other threads

I feel that you don’t really believe in any of the arguments that you put up

You just like disagreeing with people and baiting them accordingly

Just my opinion

I'm saying it because that's what I believe. If you and others feel that my posts against Brexit, The Tories, Johnson, racism are not real and I'm actually a supporter of those things.
I won't try and convince you, I'll just wish you well.

No, but if I were a Chelsea player, management, or board member, I'd have to think LONG and HARD about the type of club, and despicable FANS I was representing.... unless, deep down, I kinda agreed with them!!

CHELSEA fans threw a BLACK guy off the train remember....

Imagine if you were a BLACK guy PLAYING for Chelsea..... would you be OK with that?

Maybe you would.... maybe your greedy fucking morals were skewed by the reality of the racist scum club who pay your wages...or maybe your OBSCENE wages skew the reality of the scum club you play for....

Maybe THAT'S it?

Either way.... fuck their Nazi scum Cunt fans and players.... who are too greedy to acknowledge the Nazi scum club they represent!!
Regardless of what colour I was I wouldn't be ok with it. There are plenty of chelsea fans that don't agree with it either.
If the club has a set of racist policies your point would have a lot more validity. The only thing Chelsea can do about the racist fans who stopped the black guy going on the train is have the police identify them and ban them for life.

I think you'll find you have the timeline wrong, let me set you straight...

1st: He cheated to get a Spurs player sent off

2nd: He got booed as a result of that cheating

3rd: He made accusations of racist chanting

4th: He got booed again when Spurs played against him, as Spurs fans don't have very short term memories of his cheating

You'll note the booing was before the racist chanting accusations.

That doesn't mean he wasn't booed because he made racist allegations.

Bit thick me. What unbiased view gives me the answer to the question?

And if you are suggesting that your next paragraph answers the question, it doesn’t.

Is he so stuck in this “racist world against me & I stand alone in this (interestingly no support from his own club)” that he has lost sense in the reality? Behave like a cunt, you get booed. It’s not because you are a black player. He gets paid millions a year. Getting booed is part of the territory if you upset an opposing teams fans. In the same way us same fans will give a superb opponent performance, or a bad injury a standing ovation when that player goes off the pitch. If I was getting paid what he is, someone could boo me all the fuck they wanted. If I felt I was being targeted because of race, I may say it out loud. I wouldn’t keep banging the fuck on about it when I’d been shown to be mistaken in the teeth of all the available evidence.

I wouldn’t say racism won in the next game against that team- seeking desperately to show I was still right even though I was demonstrably wrong. If I had to say anything in response to a question of why I was booed I’d say that I was booed (not monkey chanted) on both occasions and perhaps I got it wrong and it was part of the decades old tribal nature of the sport I excelled in, & whose fans paid my wages. If I wasn’t asked the question or didn’t have to answer it , I’d keep quiet.

And it’s not like Rudiger doesn’t have form for making unfounded allegations about race issues in the pitch.

Last December Lazio midfielder Senad Lulic was given a 20-day ban for the racist remarks he aimed at Rudiger following defeat in the derby weeks earlier.
Rudiger was racially abused again this year by Lazio fans during an Italian Cup game.

Although his team-mates have shown solidarity with him, the defender opened up on the frustration of having to cope with being demeaned on the pitch because of his colour.

“You feel alone.” he said “People love to say ‘stay calm’ or ‘don’t do anything’. It is easy for you to say those things when you are not black and you never feel what it is like.

The racism he has suffered is very real.

What he gets paid has nothing to with it, unless you're suggesting that there is correlation between what a player gets paid and the amount of abuse should suffer. I don't think he's come this far in his career and life by being brittle, he's been booed lots of times. He hasn't shown to be demonstrably wrong either otherwise the club would be able to contradict his statements

Why would a club like Chelsea contradict his statements?
How do you know that?
Classic example of what I’m on about but all grist to the mill ?

You forgot the word FALSE..

He was booed because he is a dirty, lying, cheating Cunt and made FALSE allegations of racism.

That makes him and people backing him as bad as the racists.

You have made an absolute tit of yourself in this thread. and are on par with David Badiel.
Our club hasn't said he is has made false allegations. I've backed his right to make the allegation same as the club.
