Sounds promising.Hey, I know Nemanja Nikolic!
He's a proper goal poacher and a true #9 center forward, but he's not much of an all-around footballer, his hold-up play leaves much to be desired, he's not a great header of the ball, he's totally dependent on the service he gets, and he's 32 years old and looked in decline athletically last season and the Fire have replaced him with a younger guy from Ligue 1. If that's the BEST available free agent...yikes.
Good guy though. He's been the heart and soul of the (very bad) Fire side the last few years.

Adriano ?
Victor Anichebe.
He only really burst on the scene last season when he moved from Holland to Germany. But he does look the stuff with 11 goals in all comps so far this season. He rounded out his first season in Germany with 18 in all.Weghorst would be a really solid signing and good back up. Strange that we, or indeed any team of note, have ever been linked with him in any meaningful way.
The weird thing about buying from the German league is that it seems from the outside looking in its extremely difficult to attract young German talent and convincing them to leave is very tricky. Which is pretty mind boggling considering their salary is pretty modest compared to other major European leagues. He only really burst on the scene last season when he moved from Holland to Germany. Another name we should look at out of Germany in the summer if Kevin Volland at Leverkusen. Consistent Bundesliga striker. We could probably do with scouting more attackers out of Germany since I think the style of the league is the most similar to the Prem.
After the latest Barcelona news.
