Nah, Clyne is done.

He was horrendous at Bournemouth last season and I don't think he's played a single minute of football this season? So that's over a year without playing competitive football, following nearly a year and a half of playing no football due to injuries etc.

I'd rather give KWP games over Clyne at this point in time.

Quite a reference for him !

Shame as I thought he could be an option.

What do you think of Tariq Lamptey?

Not seen a lot of him so no real opinion on him as a player other than 'highly rated at Chelsea (but lots have been but never lived up to hype elsewhere, although several have made a decent grade), moved to Brighton end January - so difficult to get without a large fee.

Only played a couple of professional games in his life - makes KWP look like a candidate for a gold watch for long service by comparison.

Really don't see him as a candidate without more playing time, think it makes more sense to look at Spurs u23's to select a candidate to try out, rather than buy so little experience - 18 year old Jamie Bowden is a CM who can play RB and not that far away from Harvey White in being rated, might be a back up if required. A year away possibly is 17 year old Dermi Lusala who might well be a standout candidate.

I saw him the other night against Leicester. And earlier in the season at The Emirates. And I thought he was as exciting as hell.

So if you are Mourhino do you ask DL to pay say £30m for him and guarantee to play him for say for say the first 10 matches of next season (more professional games than he's ever [played in ).

I think no.

In 12 months time it may or may not be a different case, depending on how he does at Brighton.

But Chelsea were not prepared to bet on his progress.......ie take the risk. Should we/could we ?

And am I correct that the Emirates game you saw was the only game he has played (except last couple of games maybe) ie he's only played a couple of professional games in his life.

Would you gamble multi million on a player who you have only seen in a couple of games (no footage in youth games really relevant if its a multi million fee ?) Toughie ?
