Funny how we all see things differently. I absolutely hate it if the keeper kicks it long unless there’s a quick break on.It is not the %of possession that is important but what you do with it. Too often under Poch it was pass, pass, pass etc but no end product. It could be very frustrating. Also the insistence on bringing the ball out from the GK led to more possession but the times we lost it and conceded a goal. Now GK kicking the ball long will on many occasions lose possession but if Kane can get it to one of our colleagues then we can very quickly be in a threatening position. Now Mourinho's approach has resulted in some poor performances but whilst I hate it when we are under constant pressure, I like it when we quickly break into a goal scoring situation. The style of play we have seen is not the finished article and needs improvement and both the Bournemouth and Palace matches were poor but we have seen loads of possession in the Poch era and as little end product.
