Are you confusing Lamela and Bergwijn here?

I really do feel Lamela has shown what he can do in 220 apps for the club vs Berg's dozen or 2.

No I am not a great number off those appearance's were as a sub. Lamela has mated 223 appearance's for a total of 12479 minutes which shows he has missed nearly 8000 minutes if he would have started. He had 2 seasons in which he played just under or just over 3000 minutes season 15/16 which he played 44 games he scored 11 and assisted 10 and 14/15 which he scored 5 and assisted 10 . The 14/15 season was really like his first season as he spent a lot of time injured. Then you can see he picked up and had a very good next season but then after that he only managed 944 minutes and the rest of the time he never appeared for more than 2000 minutes . It shows if he is given a run he can perform he just cannot get a run through injuries or not being given a chance

Probably because he is all about power and some pace and in The Eredivisie that looks 'impressive' down that right hand side v weak opponents, but he can't cross and isn't that good defensively either.
Maybe, but I’d rather we have an advanced FB who can carry the ball to the byeline and produce cutbacks rather than another Aurier throwing in low-percentage crosses. If you take away the freakish TAA and Robertson deeper crosses are a ridiculous waste of time.

Wilson can fuck off, he's just a taller version of Defoe, his all round play is shit, he offers nothing like Kane does (on a good day anyway) in terms of hold up etc, and he's not even a prolific goalscorer.

Watkins, Leao, Rebic or even fucking Cavani for a couple of years on a free makes more sense, all better footballers, all can play more than just as striker and all better strikers.
I'd much rather Watkins than Wilson and they will be around the same price.

Have we been linked with any CMs? If Ndombele does leave for Skriniar than we absolutely need another midfielder. Bringing Hojbjerg in will be pointless if he's next to Sissoko/Winks when Lo Celso needs a breather or is out injured.

Didn't sort through to see if this had been posted already... I think this could be good for Sess. Ajax really knows how to develop players, but he may not benefit from being in that league.

I like Lamela as much as the next man, a decent squad option, but to say he hasn't had a chance to show what he can do is ridiculous, no matter how many minute-based stats you show. He's our 3rd (?) longest serving player now after Lloris and Kane.

Mourinho has all the history and info on Lamela at Spurs he could possibly need.
If you're saying you prefer Lamela over Bergwijn, fair enough, but the latter really hasn't had enough time to get settled compared to Lamela.
