And I don't disagree with anything you just said.
In general, Chelsea is still a bigger club than us, the fact that I don't like that doesn't change it.

It just bothers me that some fans insinuate that we now are at the same financial level as they are
(I'm not talking which squad/player is better or where we can finish the season)
and that we have the same budgets to spend but that the only noteworthy difference between us is the "lack of ambition"

1 right back, 1 centre forward, 1 left back depending on what we see as Sessegnons position. Teams in non league have more strength in depth than that.

If you had posted that first sentence two or three years back, you'd have have been hounded off the board.

As for the second, I don't thing anyone has ever insinuated that, but there's a big gap between that and scrabbling around for Watford's castoffs.
 
Funny thing is the Hojbjerg announcement is undoubtedly being delayed for the social media team to manufacture some sort of terrible ‘bantz’ in a welcome video for 5/6pm this evening

Anyone want to take a guess at the cringe hashtag and/or unveiling video?

I actually miss that stupid handshake one we did for Lucas... couldn't do that these days with social distancing!

On that note, maybe it should be some slow motion blurry shots of a medical, but when the camera pans up from the knee reflex test, it's just José looking smug.

Serge might not be, we are demanding 20 million instead of just 15 million. AC milan are already looking elsewhere.

I said it yesterday: it´s not everybody´s dream, but I think we are keeping Aurier, while buying another cheap option RB - most likely Çelik.

The only way I see Aurier leaving the club is someone willing to pay silly money for him - in Aurier´s case, 20-25m.

This would be awful. Serge already wanted out last summer, so he won't be signing a new contract any time soon. That means he'll be down to a year next summer and worth a fuckload less than 20-25m.

And that's not even discussing whether him remaining at the club is detrimental to our on pitch performance.

Levy needs to swallow his pride and let him go.

We won't buy him unless we can raise funds, there are rumours of Leeds being interested in Foyth perhaps they will buy him for 12-15 million,
