Yes! If we can't replace Ndombele with a Sabitzer, Grealish, VDB, Stengs etc then I don't want to see him leave .. any period out of the team for an injury prone Lo Celso would leave us dreadfully short on quality.

Still not completely sold on Van de Beek. He was brilliant in that CL run, but I’ve just got the feeling the Ajax system accentuated his strengths and he might not fare so well in another side. Could be wrong, but I think he also lacks a little burst of pace.
45m wont get Grealish's hair. Never been truly sold on Van de Beek. I simply don't believe the Inter links either. Folk keep mentioning Kante then N'dombele as an alternative. Conte and N'dombele looks like an even worse match than Tanguy and Jose. Lazy journalists at work.

This is much more likely to happen than some weird Ndombele trade. Chelsea would actually have a decent defense. They'll need a new DM, but Kante can't stay healthy it seems so I think Chelsea do this if they can.

His defensive numbers are bad but part of that is Wolves' system. He's probably a worse ball winner than Aurier but will likely make less mistakes and is far better going forward. He seems to be exactly what Mourinho wants in that RB position.
Happy for him but my issue is that he needs to play and that doesn't seem like a place he will get any minutes. If he steps up his game then all the better but it will be very difficult at a team like that.
Anything around £15-18m makes sense because we are probably going to get around that for Aurier.
Still think there is a low % chance of signing another RB and Mourinho goes with the Gedson/Tanganga plan. I think a backup striker is greater priority than another RB, but that's not saying much.
