But financial reasons are usually pretty valid no?This is the type of signing that we should be making but will be unable to because of financial reasons.

Not ones rooted in personal greed
Any links on Lamela leaving?
As much as we need signings in key positions - getting rid of some deadwood is just as important now
Sorry mate but he’s barely fit 15 % of the season and I personally think Gio is more creativeLamela isn’t deadwood though, not unless we replace him. He‘s one of the only creative midfielders left in our squad. As with Aurier it’s only safe to sell when we have an incoming player.
That's what I'm referring to Sammy
He could be if he stayed fit, but every pre season he looks awesome and then by January he is back in the physios room, don’t get me wrong I’m not blaming him as I like him as a player it’s just his body can’t seem to cope to the demands of the PL so therefore he should be upgraded on if possible for someone who can play 80% + games a seasonLamela isn’t deadwood though, not unless we replace him. Can’t do nothing from the Physios room though can he? He will be out injured before the start of the festive gamesLamela is a perfect Mourinho player. His work rate is proper Mourinho like.
Aye Vidal Sassoon
FuckWhatever you do, don't look up Karren Brady's daughter's instagram.

Depending on who we draw they will get League Cup and/or Europa League minutes I should think.Harvey White and Cirkin making the step up into the regular team this season by the looks of it
Considering there hasn't been any recent stories linking the team to any DM or LB (Reguilon doesn't sound like a concrete one)

Zaniolo is Dybala/Isco/Moutinho of this window. Even if Roma agrees the supposed 50m bid, ENIC will find a way to sabotage the deal.
Once the window shuts,Airfixx will come to convince us that enic tried their best to complete this signing but these transfers are never easy.
He’s the sort of fan who GENUINELY believes that the club makes fake bids on players like Dybala and Zaniola because ENIC is terrified of him.
I mean, what if he hires a plane or makes a little placard!!!
Or better still.....joins a FORUM!!!!!
So Levy, who is by now absolutely shitting it, tells the press (and Juve, Roma, agents and the players themselves in Dybalas case) to all pretend that Spurs wanted to sign someone and made bids etc.
All to make Mindblown think that we are trying to improve, and once they’ve tricked him, they buy yachts.
It would be funny if it wasn’t true.
You got to feel for the guy a bit as it’s not really though any fault of his own, I know some may say he is on loads of cash and not playing so why feel sorry for him , but he has the ability there and if he could have stayed fit then he would have been a special player, but unfortunately we only see glimpses of what he is capable of.Lamela's goal in the Reading game was superb and the technique was world class. It's a shame that he hasn't performed to his highest potential.
He's been fine mostly, maybe apart from some misplaced passes, which I expected. It's more that against good teams I'm worried that he's going to push too far up in a two in an attempt to press, and in doing so allow the opposition to play through us and have a route straight at the heart of the defence (which was our biggest issue over the past two seasons). I think he needs to play as the central, and deepest, player in a midfield 3 so that he isn't tempted to push so far up the pitch.Haven’t watched either game in full - was he any good against League 1 opposition?
