It's because most of us would prefer to watch a team lose like they play, than watch a team win like we play. It's boring, uninspired football. I'm still watching...but when I see a 5am kickoff next weekend (local time), I'm not sure why I'd set an alarm to wake up for that?

Sure if that is what you want fine, I am just commenting that I have heard about Wolves being a top 4 threat and watch out they are blowing past us only to watch them finish behind us and easily out of the top 4 each of the last two years.

They get overrated, their players especially, because of that style they play but when you look at their results they are not anything close to impressive. If we switched our last two seasons with them we would be fuming even more than we are.

I am not sure I would rather watch us lose with their style than win with this style but since we aren't doing much winning I know what style I would prefer if the results are basically the same.

I am still dumb enough to get up at 5 am when those games occur, but I no longer expect to get a result and care a lot less if I get distracted for a few minutes.

Didn’t see Nagelsmann win three promotions in four seasons though either.
He’s basically gone one round further in the CL and one place higher in the league than Arry did with us.

If anyone thinks that’s what we need right now at this club, a manager the same age as some of our players, with one decent season then you’re off your head.
yh and let's watch this shit all this season. can you truly stomach that shit for 37 more games. it's not changing any time soon. I'm going on a limb and saying even avb was more bearable then this shit. at least we had prime bale to alleviate the boredom.

so your happy with winks and hojberg. we are so boring to watch. I watch wolves and are reminiscent of us under redknapp. nuno is a top coach too who plays the right way

I don't think a made a comment about us, it was all about Wolves.

Nuno may coach the right way but his teams finish lower down the table than us, they go out earlier in Cups than us and they lose to weaker teams in Europe than us on the few times they even make it.

Bale would be a desperation signing.

And we are desperate.

I'm not even sure it's that desperate.

If it's a loan, we pay a lot of money, but he doesn't clog up the squad, we can sack it off at the end of the year (when we sack Jose at the same time). To be honest, as we have Mourinho, I'd go and get Cavani on a free at the same time. Again, expensive, but short term. Just like Jose. Levy hired one of the greatest cheque book managers in history and now we're all supposed to act shocked when he gets the hump with a bunch of kids rather than grizzled veteran players.

Bale might not be in his best form, losing his hair, playing so much golf, but he still knows how to shoot a ball towards the goal, and that alone would make him a starter for us.

Fair. Hopefully the point of buying Hojberg was to give him more of a licence to attack. Any news of when he'll be back and fully fit? We're totally screwed until then.

I read 'weeks' until Lo Celso's back. which is a problem as you say.

So we either need JM to tell Winks he needs to play as a no 8 with specific instructions to go forward (looked like he was still operating under instructions to stay back on Sunday) or tell Ndombele he puts the effort in over 90 minutes.

Can't see any other realistic options ?
