Eh Davies has his place, just not in a match like this. We had like 80% of the ball, Sessegnon should have played in a match profile like that. If we're conceding the ball and having lik 40% possession, that's where Davies is useful.

I think he's a fine defensive-minded LB that has his uses when we are giving up the ball.

Is he a world beater? No. Is he a dynamic fullback that will contribute to goals? No.

That doesn't mean he's utterly useless though.

Ndombele and Lo Celso are far better dribblers than both of them in any case, so if all Hojbjerg is doing is pressing/tacking/defensive actions, while not being a total liability on the ball, then that's fine.

Lo Celso was looking great until he ran out of gas. With a couple more games under his belt he will be huge for us this season.

When Lo Celso and Ndombele are both fit and able to start, we'll look completely different (especially with Reguilón bombing down the left hand side).
