Just catching up on a few possible transfer moves. Apparently De Laurentis at Napoli holding up Milik to Roma deliberately, because it means Juventus can’t get Dzeko out of Roma. But Morata could be going to Juventus instead, but can’t yet, do this means Woolwich can’t sell Torrera to AM.

Gives us an idea as to how convoluted transfers can be and they aren’t just as easy as “just sign him Levy”. If it was easy, why doesn’t the window just open for about twenty minutes in August? There’s a reason clubs need months to get their shit together.

Hopefully it is the club realizing that spending money on a player with two bad knees, has tried as hard as he can to get a deal in Italy and already has his agent say he doesn't have an interest in playing behind Kane likely isn't the best option to bring in.

I know Levy smells a deal because Milik and Napoli have few options but not sure I am that keen on bringing a guy that has shown little to no interest in coming here and likely would only do so as a last resort.

I'd love if we signed him. Would be a great option at CF for Europa/cup games/Kane injury/sub to mix it up. Last resort or not, he's a good player who'd come in and do well for us. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a case of funds invested in a starting CB like Skriniar and backup striker ending up as somebody in the Diallo price range.

I love how the describe this place. It’s where people who get banned from everywhere else end up.
 
By the way, a disadvantage with Skriniar is that he has struggled in a back 3, hence he was dropped from the Inter team.
Whether we buy him or not may be an indication about Jose's long term plan in terms of starting XI formation when Bale is back and our new signings have settled.

I think it's fair to say what I said in my post and I will defend each and every part of that. And your first port of call in responding to said post should have been "agreed" or "pretty fair post" if you were being fair. And in doing that you would see that there is still room for very fair criticism.
