Yet another great game for Ben. Been fantastic for us over the 6 years he has been at the club and has a long contract signed last year until 2024.
He's actually improved his game this season IMO. He is much better going forward. He's "won" us 3 pens and also "assisted" GLC's goal in the EL.
 
For those calling for him to never be seen in the shirt again, what happens when Reggie has a 'poor' game?

Got a lot of undeserved abuse last night. Played in a game that didn't really played to his strengths which lie more in defending, which he did well whenever called upon last night.
 
Did his job yesterday but its clear Reguilon is an upgrade. Suppose when your playing Burnley you want someone of Davies' build rather than Reguilon.

He'll play a lot this season though..
 
Davies did fine last night. We only created one decent chance in open play all game and would have created more if Reguilon was on the field. Both can be true.

Unless Davies reverts to his default of passing backwards his distribution is shocking
I’d rather he played CB

Doherty has age on his side and maybe Jose can do something with him but I agree he doesn’t look good atm
 
Some of the abuse he got last night was ridiculous and very revealing about the lack of knowledge some have of the game.

We all know his limitations. But he's a reliable, cool-headed, solid, no frills player. Exactly what was needed last night.

100% - A Ronseal footballer. Like Sissoko and Lamela I don’t like him starting regularly but you can count on them to do a job in specific situations.
