what do you mean let us down? hes not ever been good enough for spurs, hes a glaring weak link at top level football and has been for the decade hes been here. you might not think hes let the club down, but hes never been good enough. i actually pity him when i watch him drowning at the top level, hes so out of his depth.
if you see davies in the lineup against a decent side you know we are going to be in serious trouble, thats not good backup.

Nah- he would be a bottom half Prem LCB somewhere. Decent player- just not quite good enough against the genuine top-class/world-class opposition. There's a lot of Prem teams composed entirely of those types of players.

Maybe loan him to Wrexham (or whoever) - support him in getting his coaching badges (although doesn’t he have an MA or something in Business or something-or-other?) and then give him a last hurrah so he can get his deserved applause for just being okay and dependable.
