Ex-Spurs Player Dele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The demise of dele is all the more poignant seeing Kane drop deep, creating the space dele used to devour coupled with Harry’s latest penchant for defence splitting passes

we could have had so many shiny things

Dele, IMO, has been relegated because of the Son/Kane link.
Dele in the past thrived on being the man that scored a lot of goals off Kane or by overlapping him.
Now Son is undroppable and we don't need 3 on the pitch doing that.
I suspect he's not on the bench because it's causing friction in the background.

No doubt a new club and a chance of scenery will bring the best back out of him. Wouldn't be surprised if he went somewhere else and looked shit hot again.

On Kane and some will remember, I said long before this season that the guy should drop back at times and make the passes, as he is absolutely Henry and Messi-like in that regard.

Vision in abundance and creates time. It is as though all others are being rushed. Quite bizarre to watch but hugely effective.

Anything but exclusive insight on your part; we'd all seen for ourselves he had a damn good eye for an assist and the ability to pull it off.

He already showed this on youth level. As his confidence grew he did tried the passes more, the vision has been there to see for Spurs fans for a long time.

I'd say this season that the rest of the league start to understand that he can do more than score goals.

Rememember that through ball to Ryan Mason vs United? Amazing.

It was arduous, given that I had to get a huge amount of mobile numbers (social distancing and all that) but I think I am there now. Well over 97% spoken to.

As stated most hadn't seem this other side to Kane's game.

As far back as his debut there was a debate whether he'd be better off as a #10 or a #9....

Go back just a few years in the Kane thread and you'll see countless people revelling in epic passes and assists that he's made.

Many are still hoping Dele get back to his best.
I believe his best is not good enough for this team, because the his best assets are too limited.
His strengths are clever movements, clever flicks, clever short passes.
But those will replace either (these number 10's:
1. Kane
2. NDombele
3. Lo Celso
Whom I think will have higher ceilings.

He is good, but not that good.
If he stays to support the squad, yes please. But not starting eleven

In 2016, the Professional Footballers’ Association revealed that 165 of its members had sought help for mental health issues, predominantly depression, stress, anxiety and anger. The main causes were insecurity. Players were living in an almost permanent state of anxiety about their performances, their contracts and their management.

Poor little loves.

Well, it makes a refreshing change from gambling addictions caused by having far too much money

as said Dele's best bits are his clever flicks and short opening up passes, + his movement for goals/chance of scoring, without eriksen at his best, any movement by Dele isn't seen by the player on the ball
we had 2 good players that could see the pass before i was on (Eriksen & Kane) now its just Kane, you only have to watch how long it takes for most of our players to pass a forward ball, those few seconds delay loses will lose the good movement that Dele gave us
without a passer i can't see Dele making back into his old position
