Some of the players aren't arrogant, they just lack basic ability, technically and physically.
Sanchez & Tanganga is one of the worst CB combinations in terms of passing and overall technical ability I've ever seen. Some of the touches today have just been unbelievable lol
Davies isn't that bad, really, but he's always juuust too slow past the finish line for me.
Lo Celso, Moura & Doherty just letting themselves and the team down tbh. Poor mentality and effort.

They both also have inconsistent first touch. Well, Son does. Lucas has no touch. Which makes possession play really difficult.

Should they not be worried about that? Seems like this game is missing Kane at least as much as Sissoko, especially since Kane would probably be playing on the halfway line judging by what we've seen so far.
Just as I feared pre match, can't take thing for granted with team playing for their game of the season.
We lack a focal point in this game with the unfortunate absence of both our first choice and back up central forward. This midfield 3 may unlock a low block team, but against a team that press and comfortable with possesion, the lack of defensive ability and physical presence just expose us. We ended up unable to string passes nor defending.
Hope LASK stamina would decrease in second half and we can somehow lead, and see the game out.

You fix it in 2 ways:
1) Swap Ndombele to #8 and Lo Celso to #10 if you're willing to be stubborn and play 4231
2) Swap to a 433.

Do that and put Lucas up top and Son out wide and we'd be much better off.
