Blimey. Really need it explaining don't you. Defending 2 goal leads is fine. We can sit on those even if goals come in the first half. Even games where the other team equalise and we go back in front like Brighton. But today it was 1-0 for a long time. We sat on it and it cost us.. Against Newcastle it was also 1-0 for a long time. We've had a lot of games and worked hard so it was always going to concede eventually in this game.
We really need Bale to start stepping up soon, especially against teams outside the top 5 or 6. I dont think he'll start in most of those games as we'll opt for a harder worker, but we teally need that goal threat and invention in someone other than Kane and Son

Plenty of our players in the box to get that away. Hugo could even come out and punch that. Aurier should not be going into his man that's going away from goal. Just a silly free kick to give away. When we already looked battered. Maybe the Dele sub or a defensive one had to happen earlier.
It is possible to be disappointed without melting and disappearing up ones own arse.

it's one thing to lose a game outright cos you didn't play well, the opponent just really turned it up several levels. Another to needlessly invite pressure with a flimsy lead, and then show that actually you can play, you didn't have to sit back.
Of course he did. Him and hojbjerg did that for ages. Lots of games and lots of hard work they can't keep going non stop. We didn't really have anyone to come on for either of them so had to go more attacking with Dele earlier then the equaliser.
But at the end of the season, our 1pt is more than their 0pt.

Exactly. GLC and Ndombele can not play that role and Dier might have been able to (albeit worse since he lacks the agility/speed imo) and we definitely need another capable CM. I guess Mourinho counted on Winks to be one but he seems out of favour now.

Lo Celso is a much better option out there then Sissoko, better player defensively and obviously offers so much more going forward, but so would you or I.

That Dier save was either luck or pure class. On another day, we would have scored there. Wasn't our day.
