This is a time worth rolling the dice on Sabitzer. If he improves the team then we'll be a shoe in for top 4 (and all that lovely revenue) and lord knows if Liverpool faltered we could try and push them for the title.

Plus he'd be completely integrated into the squad ahead of next season.

I assumed that Sanchez spot would go to Rodon.

This is getting tricky. In the prem it would not be an issue but if we get a weapon like Sabitzer in we would want him in the EL as well.

Might as well just not register Lamela in the expectation he won’t be available anyway.

What about if we remove Winks and Dele? To allow space for Sabitzer?

Or does it have to be a foreign spot?
Winks, Whiteman, Bale and Kane are Club trained. (4) Dele, Clarke and Hart (one short) are the Association trained players.

Tanganga is u21.

Need to move on an overseas trained player as we have the maximum 17 already in EL squad PLUS Gedson and Gazzaniga.

If we sell Sanchez we can fit Rodon into EL squad
.

That's fair.

I don't think Rodon is particularly that good but it's probably worth having him in the squad if Jose sees his future here over Davison.

Bringing in Rodon suggests that Mourhino sees him as having a big future - Alderweireld will be gone this summer (or possibly a year later), Sanchez too, so leaves Spurs to build CB's around Dier, Roddon and Tanganga plus one or two other bought in.

I don't see him loaning Rodon out either

Id hoped Rodon would be the one to finally rid Dier of our pain. Considering he plays left sided centre back and counts as HG.

Maybe next season.
