just a lack of individual quality and depth really.

Swap out Walcott with Kane or Son here, and Liverpool are getting battered.

And give the 30 yo a 4 year deal (which is the only reason they'd let him go)? Plus, Wijnaldum is a pair of 'smart legs' in the MF and not a creator. The one player I like from Liverpool but not a good idea for us.
 
I don’t want to hear Liverpool excuses about missing defenders. They came into this season with 3 senior CBs, 2 of them are as injured as often as Lamela (Gomez and Matip). That’s their own fault for not having CBs to cover.
 
Interested to see where Southampton would be in the table of games lashed 45 minutes, And if they would be above us if games lasted 80 minutes? :sonhmm:
