Match FA Cup Magic - Tottenham Hotspur FC - Marine AFC

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The FA Cup is the oldest football competition in the world and it deserves respect. We should always field a strong team in any competition to give ourselves the best chance of progressing, there's no need to throw it away by playing the kids.
We've got a first team squad of 25 players so we can easily field a strong team whilst also leaving Kane, Son, Hojbjerg and Lloris at home. We can play the likes of Hart, Bale, Dele, White, Doherty, Davies, Rodon, Clarke, etc and top them up with some academy players.
I wasn't debating the fa cup...I love it but I'm.off an age where it was the only football on TV in a year. Nowadays it has been superceded by better and richer cups involving European elite...anyways, why risk any injuries.to anymofnthe 25 man squad when you can play prospects, give them experience and still get through. No need to risk them and we don't owe the cup anything...it's called smart team management. I couldn't care less if marine love us for playing Harry Kane or hate us cos we put out a team appropriate to the opposition....I care about my team and the squad. We can do it without the superstars Sonora all good and I'm sorry but you have a very simplistic and idealistic view of the fa cup.
So is it better if we play full strength and smashe them 15-0 with a Kane injury or a 1-0 win with the second string youth squad or whatever you wanna call them?

With no spectators it's a bit less important to let them play against our big names but I imagine Kane and Son will be available for cameo roles; hopefully start with Vicious, Dele and Bale.

During the game tomorrow, if they bring someone on, to replace another player, would he be a sub marine?

:fingers:

In the Land of The Beatles, I suppose he'd be a yellow sub Marine.

Sinking to new depths with the puns.
Naughty corner for both of you.

Did you actually read what I wrote or do you have a comprehension problem with it??
I never said play full strength and I specifically said leave Kane at home along with Son, Hojbjerg and Lloris.
We don't need to play full strength, but equally we should not be playing only the youth. We should be playing a blend of the two do that we have the best chance of going through. Playing boys against men is seriously underestimating the opponents and will likely lead to us being knocked out.

Wow! No need to be so rude! Yes I read it, yes I u derstood what it meant and I still think you're wrong. I'm saying: Play the youth team and none of the first 25. It's simple. We owe marine nothing and should NOT risk any of our good players....please don't be so rude to me...it's not nice.
