I worshipped the guy as a player before he left and want nothing more than to see him plat at anything like 40 to 75% of his best, which would be the range that I would be delighted with.
There is NOTHING I would like to see more than Bale show something of his best, and when he dumped that guy on his arse, that was what I wanted, and then he finished like Mick Cooper.

I thought Bale was better tonight, overall. Certainly grew into the game.

Needs to sort his finishing out though.

The gulf in class between our B team and A team is ridiculous which makes me think it will be tough to go deep in all competitions but we march on for now.
