Correct decision it turned out. They didn't have anything going on the wing. They tried to play off their focal point of physical imposing forward, which means plenty of lay up in front of our CBS. Sissoko is more comfortable stepping into this area, and it showed in second half. We pretty well contained them, and Sissoko is very comfortable, and Bale was not even tasked with tracking back.

Don’t think ours is to bad compared to the rest of the league ? It’s always going to be hard though when it’s a team of players who aren’t match fit.
I thought we played well in the second half, just some uncharacteristic finishing. Ndombele is insane but most of us knew that already.
The real bonus from this game is Bale looked on it; going past players and looking to cause havoc. Yes these guys are league 1 standard but its the first time I've thought some of the old Bale is still in there

I might just have to vote Ndombele as my spurs player of the season if he carries on the way he has been.

They are 3 foreign players who are not able to deliver goal against weakest side in Championship?!? And at that they are taking 3 non-HG spots from potential squad. Unbelivable.
Kudos to Moura for that cross, but for the rest of the half he had SO MUCH space just next to opposition box, and he could not do anything with it. What will he do against EPL sides then?!?
I am really scared about reminder of the season in the sense that if there are any problems with Son and Kane, no one else is able to score a goal against even the shittiest sides

We dominated the game in both halves, but our players in Moura, Lamela and Vinicius were literally not good enough to do it against last team in Championship. If this is not alarming, I don't know what is.
Sure we need some players in terms of squad size as well. So we could have either Moura or Lamela, but having both still on our books and both non-HG... someone has to take a good long look at the mirror.
