When Toby was the best, he was starting. If he still was, he would still be starting. That he is not starting simply shows that he no longer is. Everything else is simply your own delusions.

Remind me what did Poch win?Unless you're saying that for cheap wind up points you're a fucking idiot

Arent you the guy that thinks that Bergwijn would be a better DM than Sissoko? Yes successful managers would play Bergwijn as a DM. What a load of nonsense
Who else would play LWB - Sissoko?
And did you see Bale when he came on?
Of course not.So essentially whatever choice the manager makes at any given time is correct?
and so you disrupt the back 3 you have trained for over a week and start a CB that looked poor against a team at the bottom of the championship? Great idea!Maybe our actual LB Davies? Especially when we have a healthy CB in Toby inexplicably riding the bench?
So by that logic does that mean Juande Ramos eclipsed Poch?We beat City in the League Cup final and he (Mourinho) will have eclipsed Poch.
Of course not.
The point is that when Mourinho felt Toby should be starting, he started 11 PL matches until he was injured. If same manager has not started him since, and when he did play he was poor, then we can reasonably assume that he is no longer what he was before and therefore should not be starting ahead of the other choices.
So by your reasoning Poch/Redknapp/Jol failed to eclipse Graham and Ramos?
I'd settle for FA Cup and 6th over 4th or UEFA Cup and 8th or both and 9th, the cabinet is bare. League Cup not so much, maybe 5th.Can't believe we might actually see if people truly are happy with 8th and a trophy over top 4.
It's vastly better than playing an already average player out of position. I'd take Toby at CB in a XI rather than an out of position Doherty any day of the week.and so you disrupt the back 3 you have trained for over a week and start a CB that looked poor against a team at the bottom of the championship? Great idea!
£50 to charity - I say we will finish higher than 8th.Can't believe we might actually see if people truly are happy with 8th and a trophy over top 4.
