Match RZ Pellets WAC or is that Wolsberger AC, whatever they are called (A) 18/2/21

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we play even close to our ability, we would win this match comfortably.

If we play to the levels we have over last 15 or so matches, will be tough game, and certainly wouldn't rule them out.
At least still being over 2 legs rather than 1 at a neutral venue which was being discussed, will benefit us.

And Wolfsberger AC are the team who are the rank outsiders of the 32 remaining teams in competition,

Technically they are Wolfsberg though, that is his point, and locally that is what they are called.

Their name translates to Wolfsberg's Athletic club.
If there was a team called London's Football Club, would you shorten/refer to it as London or London's ?

It is German thing, for example I regularly saw local Football Club when travelling to our Head Office in Bonn. Their team was called Bonner SC (Bonn's Sports Club), football team referred by everyone as Bonn or Bonner SC, never just Bonner.

Do you call Hamburger SV, Hamburger or Hamburg ?
Hamburg, and the reason is calling them Hamburger makes no sense whatsoever. Just the same as calling our opponents this week Wolfsberger, makes no sense. They are Wolfsberger AC or just Wolfsberg.

We are absolutely desperate for a win, building some momentum and rhythm is the best way to prep for West Ham right now - rather than chucking a Hail Mary

We won our league game just the other week..... don’t think anyone was surprised by city loss. By all accounts Everton game was one we should have won.

If Jose is serious about winning this thing he needs to rotate his tired first team players now when we play the worst team we will face in the remainder of this season.

Think there is a need to rest a few for Wham on Sunday lunchtime.

The Bale conundrum is to give him enough game time to sink or swim - if he's sinking in the first half we need to bring on Lamela at HT probably. Dele is needed to play to show what he can do creatively. Surely Vinicius top scoring in the Portugese league should find his level against the Austrian league team. Tanganga needs game time, paired with the experienced Dier. Central midfield picks itself to rest Ndombele and Hojbjerg. Lavenier on bench as he was included in EL squad. If Reguilon is rested enough to play both on Thursday and Sunday, I'd play him

Hart
Doherty Dier, Tanganga, Davies
Winks, Sissoko
Bale, Dele, Moura
Vinicius

Subs : Whiteman, Lavenier, Aurier, Ndombele, Sanchez, Hojbjerg, Lamela, Bergwijn, Scarlett, Son

Rested for Wham : Lloris, Reguilon, Alderweireld, Son

Injured : Lo Celso
