Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We 100% have to sack him. Awful last two games. Generally awful season, not two ways of looking at it. Kicked out in FA cup against 1st decent side, kicked out in EL in absolutely embarrassing manner.
No way in hell will we achieve top 4 - you can just save the energy and accept it right away. It WAS wide open, with Everton dropping off, Leicester having injury issues and drawing games, Chelsea also with lot of draws... but it is not anymore.

BUT at the same time this should have ringed some bells regarding our players qualities as well.
This season Kane has generally been playing in deeper position, actively participating in building game and pulling strings. Yesterday (as there was no Son to feed with balls behind the line) he was moved higher, more into classical ST position. Now game building was on shoulders of Sissoko, Winks, Alli, Moura and Lamela + having fullbacks of Davies and Aurier. And it was an absolute trainwreck !! Just looked like few basketball players out there with ball essentially pouncing off their feet at random. No ability of decent long range passing, no fast and accurate crosses, no ability to dictate the tempo. It could have been a horror movie script really. Just shows that when everything else is in place (read: when more talented players such as Ndombele and Kane pull the main weight), those players can cope, but when having to impose themselves on the game... well, they are just not good enough.

Awful night, awful result.
Mou has to go and wholesale changes needed in the squad as well.
We seem to be poised to lose Kane anyway, so might as well take risks and make a lot of changes at once, even if there will be one season lost due to lack of squad cohersion... so what. Alternative would be to keep dragging the deadweight with us.

He is merely regurgitating what his manager told him after the game. This is 100% on the management- a quality squad is poorly managed, poorly coached, lacking motivation and direction - the tactics are obsolete and the manager has to go!
Quality squad?
Don't talk fucking stupid.
You can have as much quality as you want but we have no heart or desire.
Every team we play always works harder than us.

It’ll be a glorious day when Levy pulls the plug on this fucking disaster. It’ll be wank worthy for months.

- No more parking the bus
- No more Jose fans on this forum trying to distort narratives about his performance
- No more debates about being a “serial winner”
- No one getting a boner over the “intelligent cunts” comment like school children
- No more debates about his Utd tenure

He’ll be consigned to the history books of our club.

Who know what comes next for us, there are no silver bullets. But football is about hope and enjoyment, and this guy has sucked that out of me and replaced it with hate and anger.
Can this post get some sort of award. It deserves it.

Mourinho isn't getting sacked yet. Levy hasn't got the minerals. He'll give the final at least.

No matter who the manager is, the consistency in all of these issues is the board. That needs to change more than the manager.

Just so gutted this morning . I was desperate for Jose to do well . But there is no way we can go into a new season with him and around 10 players in that squad .

I know I might be mad , but unless there is someone to bring in now, I don’t see the point in sacking him now.
We have 10 league games left, we need to shift a load of players in the summer , what good can a manager do with some of these lot .

We need to put a load of players in the shop window , and see if Jose can just get us to the end of April .

The league is just a formality now, nothing will be achieved . Maybe the players andJose can get together with the attitude that this is the last time we are all going to be together , let’s try and go out with a bang . Maybe even make a memory and somehow win the league cup.
Then in the summer start a fresh new chapter in the clubs history , with new players and manager .

This summer is huge for Daniel Levy, he has a massive task in not only getting the right manager , but getting rid of 10 players and replacing them with better quality . It’s a massive task . The biggest probably since he took over.

If we are still going into next season with 10 of those players , no matter who the new manager is , we are looking at a few years being around 7/8th..

I’m clinging onto the hope that we can somehow finish above Woolwich , and get extremely lucky and win the league cup . Then part ways with a lot of them and start a new beginning.
That new beginning may well be without Harry Kane as we are going to need to finance this horrible situation we find ourselves in , and I’m not sure he has the energy and patience to start a new project

Absolutely.

When Mourinho goes, Levy will look for the cheapest option. People may point to Mourinho's salary, but he was a free agent and he was the biggest name around.
Next up will be whoever is free, or cheapest to get out of a contract.
And worse, whoever it is, will get peanuts to rebuild this squad. They'll have to make do with shite like Davies, Dier, Sanchez, Doherty. Winks, Sissoko etc for another 2 or 3 years before the same happens again.
