I've outlined below my summary of Mourinho logic and would be delighted if he somehow survives and proves me wrong. I've supported Spurs for 60 years and never criticized another manager (certainly not Poch). But sad to say my future now depends on Kane's next club. If it's City or a Spanish or German giant, I'll just watch the odd game. If it's Utd (for money reasons), I'll stop watching altogether as I've had Sheringham and Berbatov experiences so 3 & out.

Sissoko, Sanchez, Alli, Winks, Dier, Davies were all excellent.
It's not the players. It's the coach. Not only has he destroyed the dressing room, he devalued some. Of our prize assets by 10s of millions.
Quite how Levy and the club allowed this fraud to continue is beyond me.
As a club, we cannot allow Mourinho to be in charge for the league Cup final. If he wins it, all the damage he has done will be overlooked.
There needs to be a clear message from the fans that he isn't wanted.

It was in free fall for ~18 months into Poch era. We were idealess and hopeless when Poch was (rightfully) sacked. Unfortunately not enough player followed him through the door and appointment after him was also not the right one as it has been proven.
We will need to get Mou out asap, but that on it's own will not turn the situation around. Minimally we have to get rid of utter dross like Doherty, Sanchez, Vinicius, Sissoko, Dier
We need to find at least 2 top level CB's to be starters - now we have 0 starting quality CB's.
We need to bring Skipp back and get in one more ball-playing CM.
We need to bring in a striker to replace Kane.
I think latter 2 can be rather youngish, with Kane and probably Son gone we will not find immidiate success anyway. And then I would prefer to go into rebuild, rather than follow Gooners model of purchasing 80 mil players with ultra high wages who just pocket the money and enjoy retirement (Ozil, Sanchez, Auba, Partey, Pepe).

Sanchez had a short spell where he looked ok but was never first choice. Toby went off injured IIRC
Winks is the most over rated player to come from our youth for as long as I recall and there have been a lot.
Dier had 1 good season and didn't play CB in that match.
Davies is below average.
Dele is the one I can't figure out. Unlike all of the others you mention, he can change games on his own. But his bad form, like the others, predates Borinho
Scarlett, 17, made his League debut and ONLY League appearance in the third minute of stoppage time against West Brom in February but the very brief cameo was not counted in the study.

Sissoko was fucking shite when we bought him and for a long time after, then he played a worldie of a half-season and then turned to shit again. I can't remember if that 'handball' at the start of the CL final was during his purple patch or not, but I think it was the tail-end.
Winks had a good game against Madrid and we should have sold or committed to him (though I don't think the extra game time would have helped, if I'm honest, he always seemed to be fairly uninspiring).
Dele is a sulker, our new manager* will get a tune out of him, I'm sure.

It may well make a difference. I really hope it does, I’m just not that confident.
And I’m less confident that we would be able to attract anyone of the required quality. We are still regarded as a big club, I’m sure, maybe even still a pull for the great and good. But anyone looking at the last 18 months, seeing Poch and Mourinho sacked, also looking at a squad of players who are either incapable of simple play, or aren’t listening to the manager, will be entitled to run like fuck in the opposite direction.
Time will tell I suppose. I’m utterly convinced we’ll end up with Smith from Villa or Potter from Brighton. Decent enough guys, who may have it in them to make that huge step up they’d need to.

He has a use by date of 2 - 3 years, but has skipped straight to unuseable in the first 12 months here.
What in blue moses have you seen to make you think he can turn it around based on in his last 3 jobs in management?
Levy could have sold up to Abrahamovic. He enquired about us before going to Ken Bates at Chelsea.
Of course Levy quoted him a stupid figure like £400 million back in 2003.
I’m not sure he can turn it around, but I’m sure he’s got as much, if not more, of a chance than Potter or Parker has.
As for his last three jobs? A couple of trophies at each of them. Not that bad.
