Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's a Man City fan, he reports on Spurs, he only writes about Spurs. His sources come from Spurs/Kane's camp.

Ornstein's speciality is to get transfer scoops almost first, his reputation is kinda built on this, it gets destroyed if they are proven to be bullshitting.

Kane 100% wants out. It's funny because the vast majority of fans have been saying this most of the season, use it as a weapon against the Club for not lining their dreams with silverware "Kane will fuck off if he's not blah, blah, blah". Yet when someone (now three separate people with maybe differing sources) confirm what they've been saying they get all in denial about it. Odd.

He does or he doesn’t with a 3 year deal it’s Levy who holds the cards. Anything less than £120m and probably quite a bit more maybe closer to 150m or nothing will happen this summer.

I love Kane as much as anyone else, but life goes on folks and you have to respect a man's ambition.

Here's a tip. Have a fucked childhood where you learn to never get attached to anything! This way, when shit like this happens, you can just brush it off.

See, childhood trauma isn't all bad!

I am not advocating moving on from Kane or Son, honestly I think we could be successful either way as always it depends on smart transfer moves, managerial hires and squad management, but the way some folks on here fear monger about the thought of losing Kane and/or Son is crazy.

We will lose them at some point, whether to transfers or age. If our club can't survive the loss of one player we are in massive trouble. I know we are not City or RM, but we shouldn't be a one/two man club either.

Let's not push Kane out but at the same time we sure as hell better be able to still have success when/if he leaves.

He covers Spurs yes but that is completely different from having contacts inside Kane's camp or within the club. I haven't seen him give one piece of inside info. It wouldn't surprise me if he's actually Hercules. Will Kane consider leaving if we don't get CL? Absolutely. Is he going around telling everyone he's desperate to leave? Absolutely not, and certainly not anyone connected to these two bozos.

Can you point to anyone who did this?

I'm sharpening my pitchfork.

Someone fetch the kindling.

Totally agree. I said the other day, but these companies are going down and are desperate to secure revenue. Cashing in on said credibility* is the only way for some of them at the end. The way they reinforce the point about journalistic integrity reeks of desperation. They also back-tracked on their 'desperate' plea; because, as we can reasonably suspect, it's horse-shit.

Oh, and their points about it being a coincidence that they released this before the manure game is an insult to intelligence. They absolutely expected to capitalise on the timing and they didn't care about any potential destabilising effects, they are NOT Tottenham supporters, so why would they?

* they're both in the early thirties, hardly pillars of integrity and proven protectors of the code of journalism. And, as mentioned, one is a gooner and the other's shitty.

Did I miss this part of the video or did they claim this somewhere else?

I guess I find it hard to believe that Kane can talk about wanting to win and then want to have the guy that had us go out weakly to RB last year, can't beat Zagreb this year, out weakly to Norwich last year, only in the final this year because of the draw and out against the first good team we face in the FA Cup this year all while finishing 6th last year and likely 6th-8th this year. Maybe he buys into the serial winner BS but there is no reason to think that Jose will get him anything close to titles that he wants.

I can't see how anyone, even guys he plays, could like playing for Jose. The team looks so flat out there, with no energy or passion at all. I would think if they loved him and playing for him at least that would be present even if the tacitcs aren't there.
I get your point, but I have heard plenty of his former players referring to him as things like 'a father figure', 'a great manager' etc.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no Mourinho fan and would like him gone. But you have to be honest too, and we should remember the teams that knocked us out of cup competitions under Poch;

Leicester, Chelsea x3 (1x pens), Fiorentina, Palace x2, Woolwich, Dortmund, Liverpool x2, Monaco/Leverkusen, Gent, United, West Ham, Juventus, Colchester (pens).

Cup defeats under Mourinho;
Norwich (pens), Leipzig, Everton (aet), Zagreb.

I was fucking livid when Gent knocked us out. As I was after Colchester and that Champions League group with Monaco & Leverkusen.

Poch failed to win 17/17 cup competitions reaching 2 finals I think? Mourinho has failed to win 4/5 so far with 1 final.

All I'm saying really is that Poch wasn't particularly great in cup competitions with us, didn't respect the domestic cups properly, yet on the back of 1 extremely fortuitous Champions League run has a bit of a reputation he doesn't really deserve in the cups.
Forest > Brighton > Toon > Blades > Lose to Chelsea in the final, the first real test.
At least we knocked Chelsea out this season on pens. Poch lost against them all 3 times in the cups.

Poch in domestic cups knocked out Leicester and Woolwich for teams worth noting, whilst getting knocked out 7 times by teams in that top 3rd of the Prem.
Thus far, the only top 3rd of the Prem sides Mourinho has been up against were Chelsea - who we beat, and Everton where it was a great game decided in extra time.

(edit re Everton I forgot)

I am not sure what Poch has to do with this, unless we are talking about whether Kane would want to go to PSG to have a better shot at winning trophies.

Yes former players have said great things about Jose, I am sure many love him. I guess I just don't see any reason that Kane would have those same feelings. I don't think he hates him either but there is nothing that I see in what Jose does that would have Kane particularly love him more than random manager X.

Mate a journalist (a non-clickbait one at that) specialising on Tottenham Hotspur is absolutely going to have sources at the club or connected to the club. He would be a fucking shit journo if he didn't.

I highly suspect that these sources are those in Kane's camp, when a player wants out then he (his management team) will want that message out there. No different when Raiola is trying to position a player at a Club, he will manipulate what he wants in the press (many "sources" are player representatives), given the specificity of the subject it points to Kane's camp.

Why wouldn't Kane not tell anyone that he wants to leave if we don't get CL?

The most likely links for Kane seem to be PSG, United or City.
For a few reasons I would rule out United.

You never know, he could be looking at that French league as a place he could bag 100+ league goals in 2-3 seasons working with an old mate.. and I could imagine Lloris making the same move with him.

I put £100 on Kane to pass Shearers 260 Premier League goals about 5 years ago.
And for this reason, the idea of him going to Paris scares the life out of me.

Err we're in the Kane thread, there are loads. It's a stock response. Fans accept (some expect) that if we are shit then he leaves and they "can't blame him for wanting out". That's being said for months, if not years now.
I'm only interested in the ones who changed their minds.

How FUCKING DARE they.

Sorry, I'm taking the piss because I see this 'they said this and now they are saying this' quite a lot.

It's as if it is a sign that changing your position based on new information (or simply taking the time to consider the facts) is somehow weakness, laudable or means they're trying to pretend they always thought that way. The latter is understandably a bit annoying, but who gives a shit?

Someone changing their mind to agree with you is a win-win. We MUST support this, trolling people about it causes the shit we're all fed up with (tribal mindsets). CONGRATULATE them! They saw sense! Fucking good for you, buddy! You fucked off your ego and actually thought about it, nice one!

Of course, don't say it like that, that's just gonna piss people off, but you get the point.

Also, I can't agree with your 'vast majority' claim, maybe it seems that way because regular posters worried about it.
