Man City were utter shite until they won the lottery, Chelsea had been competitive before Roman turned up but we tend if millions of pounds in debt.

Yes our place in it may seem an anomaly but FFS neither of those two clubs were anywhere near the elite until the billions came flooding in.

It's really annoying how we're the target, at least we have built organically even if this hasn't translated to much success on the pitch.

I would have thought the backlash would be too great. However, I have seen the evolution in this very thread. People starting to accept it and statements such as, "if you can't beat them" and "rather be in it".

Let's say that the clubs are kicked out of the PL. and let's further assume that no players from those clubs will be able to play for their national sides.

Of course every fan of every team would like to think that their players are "honourable" and would pick country over club.
But, at the end of the day how many would walk away from the money ?
None would be my guess.
 
Would be a bold move if all players from involved clubs were to be banned from the Euro's. Could kick off a bit of player revolt and put a temporary clamp on this thing.

Probably not, when you look at the money involved. Match ticket prices will be a sham.

Well that's fucking depressing. Personally, I'm having no part of a monopolistic competition without any basis in merit.

Disillusioned with the game enough as is lately, but this for me would be the final straw

Bingo. Let’s be honest with ourselves, we’d be embarrassed every week if we were in this bullshit league. Levy truly would turn us into the laughing stock of world football just for more revenue.
