I’ve always said that i hate the idea but that were it to happen it is better to be in it than not. The world wants to watch these teams (including us apparently) play each other and so although it is motivated by financial greed of the clubs the fact is that ppl will wat h and the other clubs will get left behind and be nothing more than feeder clubs, the best of which will get let in as the new league expands but the founding clubs will always get more.

Agree. Its all about maximizing revenue, having control over consistent expenditure, and forming a collective to utilize leverage over players to normalize labour costs.
