Outside of the questionable link to us is there any reason to think that Flick isn't taking the Germany job?

Have I missed credible reports that isn't happening?

Nevermind the obvious terrible fit he would be with Levy, he already basically has his dream job lined up.

I am amazed this club allows the media to run rampant with stories.

I mentioned a day or so ago that I play the Powerball every now and then and that if I won a hefty chunk, I would bid for Spurs.

Guys and gals, I promise you I would be in front of the media. I would be putting out publically our plan to overhaul our framework and that members of the trust and the fanbase will get their chance to voice their opinion.

I cannot believe we have no idea what we want to do with this club. It was a race to build the physical infrastructure, but no plan on how to build the interpersonal infrastructure.

It's just a throw shit at the wall mentality and it stuck for 1 manager that had a plan, but was not backed by the powers.

Please, it is simple.

Get Rangnick. Listen to him. Employ a long-term strategy of player and club development. Sure changes will happen. Managers and players will come and go. But if you have an identity, the ebbs and flows will be far less volatile.

I think the issue is that Daniel Levy is probably great to work with as long as you are asking for things that fit his own vision/agenda for the club. If not, he's going to be absolute hell to convince.

Which is probably not unusual, or different from most football executives. But the issue is what is the agenda now, and how do that fit within what football coaches would feel are the normal requirements of the job and industry?

Sheer embarrassment for Levy. Rejected immediately.

It’s clear to any half decent manager that the Spurs job is a poisoned chalice. The shiny headed cunt in charge of spending doesn’t spend, yet holds managers to high expectations and sacks them when they dont overachieve? Why the fuck would anyone decent want this job?

Levy and ENIC need to either change tact and make a statement about how they’re changing strategy or they need to sell.

We are a fucking laughing stock.
