Bullshit.Read on msn.com the gooners are drawing up a list of replacing legohead. Both us and them have highest net debt.
Why would Flick want to go from Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich to Harry Winks and Moussa fucking Sissoko?![]()
Tottenham's search for new manager hits buffers as top targets rule themselves out
Telegraph Sport looks at what Spurs want in their new manager, who they wanted - and who might still be interested in the jobwww.telegraph.co.uk
Former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is thought to be interested in the Spurs post, despite being linked to the German national team job, but Tottenham, as yet, are not thought to have reciprocated that interest.
Rangnick is in his 60s, has barely coached in the last ten years, apart from a couple of short stints at Leipzig. This was his last long term job:
"Schalke began the 2011–12 season by defeating Borussia Dortmund in a shootout in the 2011 DFL-Supercup. On 22 September 2011, Rangnick stepped down as Schalke's coach due to exhaustion syndrome, stating he did not have "the necessary energy to be successful and to develop the team and the club". He finished with a record of ten wins, three draws and ten losses"
The PL is a much more stressful league to manage in than the Bundersliga.
His only major honour is a German Cup. He's someone who's influenced great coaches without having all the tools to be one himself. He has no experience at all outside Germany.
This could end up being like Santini. As a DOF, it would be a great appointment, as a manager/coach it'd be a terrible one I think.
Roy Kinnear would do a better job.Apparently levy wants joe kinnear as next boss. Can imagine it next season losing 6 nil at home to norwich and fans saying its a joe kinnear![]()
Perhaps but that's the way I see it....and it gives me no pleasure.
Rangnick might be though.
Or Levy is going to adore a manager who's entire gimmick is developing cheap talent and selling them on for fortunes.Ragnick was extremely interested (the agreement had even been made) in becoming AC Milan manager/DoF last year, and all of that fell apart when Pioli won like 100 matches in a row. So he's for sure interested in becoming a manager again. Him and Levy seem like a combination from hell though...
You’re using logic here, and levy’s ego seems to get in the way of logic. The only good managers he’s ever hired have been completely by accident.Or Levy is going to adore a manager who's entire gimmick is developing cheap talent and selling them on for fortunes.
Rangnick in a lot of ways is the perfect corporate manager. He buys cheap, sells expensive and builds teams that are entertaining to watch and attracts fans.
Makes sense for Doctor Tottenham to hire a GP.
Nuno espirito santo is a good shout or bielsa. Out of 2 id rather have santo.
Apparently it rhymes with dick, stick, wick, trick, flick, click, prick, brick, quick, mick, nick.... possibilities are endlessApprently Rangnick has been 'offered the job' (dubious sources).
My concerns are:
1. May struggle with Levy's DoF tendencies.
2. Rangnick is hard to type.
3. Also hard to pronounce.
4. I suspect it doesn't rhyme with anything, but not sure (see 3).
5. So far, he's the only candidate I like that we've got a chance to get and I don't want to open up in case I get hurt again.

Ten Hag not having the same vision seems like a red flag for Spurs, not Ten Hag.
