Oh I think there would still be a few. It's a dwindling number but with every scandal they seem to dig themselves in deeper.
I honestly think people who support Levy these days only do it for the sake of arguing.
There is no sane football fan out there that thinks what we do on the field is a good thing? Sure there have been moments of good sprinkled in throughout the 20 odd years but they are far outweighed by the “what the fuck” moments....
From a playing perspective we are no better off now than when Sugar was in charge, the only difference is we spend more money for the privilege....
Levy has done a great job off the field no one can deny that, tho the club is so in debt to its eyeballs while the value of the “lock, stock & barrel” increases in value, that bit sticks in my throat a little if I’m honest, so ENIC/Levy have essentially become bigger than the club itself and none more so highlighted by that unforgivable move to the ESL, so it’s “thanks for the stadium Daniel now kindly fuck off out of this club”

Opens his / her post with I'm not defending ENIC.

Then spends the rest of the post defending ENIC

It really is like some kind of psuedo psychological phenomenon is taking place here. People no longer realise they're doing it.

He didn't defend ENIC, he made a good point about the stupidity of a segment of the fanbase with their stupid woe is us, we suck no matter what, there is no point BS.

You would think we are Sunderland dropped down two levels the way these losers moan about things.

Telling those moaners to shut up isn't a defense of ENIC it is pointing out the truth of the situation without going into the over the top hysterics that some seem to love nowadays.

Just a thought. Been reading that chelsea may bid for kane. Would you swap kane for werner and abraham. Interesting thought.

No

Abraham is not as bad as many will claim but not close to good enough to be a major piece in a Kane move. I would take him if the move was 200m and Abraham because he could be a good player for us either on the bench or as the striker if we spent the money from Kane on other parts of our team but it would be more of a throw-in than anything.

I have zero interest in Werner in part because he hasn't been very good for Chelsea and because I have questions about his attitude overall but especially if he were coming here. He seems to be very entitled and I don't think he would be keen on a move "down" to us. He doesn't seem like the right kind of player to be part of a post Kane rebuild.

Also I would say Werner and Abraham are at best worth 75m, and that is being generous to their value, so not close to what we should get for Kane. If we are taking players instead of money the value of the players should easily outweigh the value of the straight cash in my view.

Do people really think that there is a chance that Poch is coming back?

It's been 18 months since he was let go, and it isn't like much has changed during that time. The essential core of the team is the same, Poch has had limited other experience to continue to develop him as a manager, and out willingness and/or ability to drastically make any changes through transfers is unlikely at best.

I will always love Poch and I appreciate everything he did, but this is like the pinnacle of desperation. It's like pining for your ex after 18 months after you went through a divorce. You're still the same people ane while getting back together may feel good for a few days, reality will set back in.

Joan

It doesn't really matter. Because 20 years of evidence suggests they will either

A) Fail miserably . Or

B) Take us to within touching distance then get sacked rather than get the required backing to achieve sustainable success.

But if you must have a name. A club of our wealth and history should be able to prise away Brendan Rodgers from Leicester.

A man who knows the English game inside out. Would command the respect of our biggest players. And could work with the kind of budget Levy would afford him
After all of that (reasonable) complaining you come up with Brenton??!!

If he came back this would be both us and him:

If Kane went to Chelsea I'd probably give up on football altogether. I'm already close thanks to VAR.
100% agree on both points.I absolutely don’t begrudge Harry a move but please not Chelsea.
It has been obvious to me that VAR has been slowly killing the game since day one and week after week it grows more farcical and contentious. It needs to be scrapped in its entirety, not ‘tweaked’ and ‘improved’ Sadly I fear we are stuck with it forever and our game will be all the poorer for it.
