Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

End of the day though and you cant deny it. No-one and i mean no-one is bigger than club. Been established since 1882 and we have to support.
No one is bigger than the club.

A statement that's been seen many times on here over the last 20 years. And a statement we'll keep reading for the next 20 years unless Daniel Levy and his cabal fuck off out of our club.

If they aint bigger than the club, why do they all have to leave to fulfill their ambition?

I once slaughtered Joe Clash Joe Clash for saying Harry Kane was bigger than Spurs.

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise.

The timing of this is deliberate and unfortunately all the cards are in Kane’s hands.

It seems that there are only three potential destinations. He ain’t going to Europe so it’s City , Utd or Chelsea

City . They are going for Harland be it 2021/2 or for a reduced fee in 2022/3.

Utd . Cavanis extra year and the emergence of Greenwood who is going to be a top top player suggests to me that they probably would be happier to spend their transfer budget on the likes of Sancho

So to Chelsea . My minds spinning but irrespective of the past I believe by default that’s his most likely destination.

So back to my first paragraph. Kane is now able to leave under a Webster and we are fast entering the narrow period of time when he can give Spurs notice that he in effect wants to terminate his contract and leave not for a fee but compensation.

Levy could easily be backed into a catch 22 where if he were to refuse a transfer Kane could just wave goodbye and walk for compensation would be perhaps just a few million but one thing for sure it won’t be close to £60 million.
The club holds all the cards in this situation.
3 year contract still to go somehow I still think he will be a Spurs player next season.

It's no good blaming the press for reporting a story they've clearly been fed by Kane's agent. It's very real.
I'm not sure Kane is the kind of guy to drop this kind of story with less than a week to go in the season. I'm not saying the story is incorrect or that Kane doesn't want to leave, he probably does, but given his relationship to the club and the type of man he is, I think he'd hold off on the request until after the season.

Utd have Greenwood and Cavani next season. No way we deal with Chelsea. If he wants to stay in the prem i can only see City. Other than that maybe PSG but would that appeal? Barca and Madrid are skint.
I want to agree that Levy wouldn't deal with Chelsea, but if they have the right price he will sell in a heartbeat. He'd sell his damn mother to them if the price was right.

Because our squad is as bad now as I can remember for a start. We're also likely to have a very average manager in next season, as realistically, nobody that's a genuinely top manager or even close will come. At best we'll get a Potter or a Martinez. Brilliant!

We had some pretty bad squads pre-Jol and the current squad isn't that bad at all.

Potter would be a fine manager, Martinez is unlikely. I don't get the point of crying about things that haven't happened yet.

Sure it is possible they hire a terrible manager and waste the money but it is also possible we get a quality manager in that uses the money wisely.

I don't get what people get out of being chicken littles for no reason. Assuming everything will be the absolute worst and that there is no hope.

But then you remember its Levy in charge. We wont pay the transfer fees or wages. We'll blow the Kane money by spreading it too thin.
The moment we reach a deal to sell Kane the prices go up on any new transfers. 30m pound players become 50m pound players, and World Class players if we are actually in for them become unattainable.

Replacing Kane is in my opinion more expensive than building around him and fixing this fucking mess.

I'm a glass half empty kind of person. I'll cry into my pillow now and then down the line I won't have any more to cry, so I can just sit there and feel shit while watching Family Fortunes repeats instead.

Fair enough.

I don' t think this is great news and I expect the club will likely fuck it up, but I do see how it could work out fine for us and a small chance it could actually work out for the better.

Who the fuck is this pzabbythethird that's disliking all of my posts?

Disagree all you want, but at least bother to actually reply with some text, you useless fat cunt.

Just like he did with Modric.
I don't think you have any idea of the hatred between Spurs and them pieces of shit.
We all know Levy loves money but the man is far from stupid unlike people like you and others that think that Chelsea have any chance of signing Harry.

The Euros constricts the time to set up and complete a deal, especially how Levy drags things out. This is definitely his agent pushing. There will be more.

Has anyone apart from Webster used this?
A few have but its not so much that it’s used it’s the threat that it could be used that usually leads to a player getting their own way

Irrespective its thought that until now there has almost been an unwritten rule that clubs won’t sign players that have walked away from their contracts but there has been a hint coming out of Spain that the big 3 are , due to their dire financial situation, going to bring in players this way

If Kane wants to go we should say thank you to him and sell him to City. He's been loyal, the club has paid him well. All parties can split and have a fresh start.

City would be best for us in my opinion. If he wants to stay in the PL that is. We won't be competing with City for the next few seasons so it doesn't matter if they improve. The rest of the league is our competition so no way we could improve them.
