I imagine the meeting would go like this:
Rangnick: "I want to sell Kane to rebuild the squad."

Well that's part of what I'm saying.
Selling Harry Kane or not is a Joe Lewis-level decision that completely defines the on-and-off field future of the club. A DoF can't make that call, and the two choices on that call represent two totally different projects for the DoF. How do you hire someone to build a vision when you don't know what the vision is yet?
Joe Lewis is not involved in running the club so I don't think he's too bothered as long as Ralph keeps the club running.
I'm sure he'll go along with Levy's view, but it's still a decision at his level.
It's more like "do we go forward with the stadium project?" than "do we sack the manager?"
The article also says we've spoken to Flick but still likely to take the Germany job. I hope we dont try and shoehorn a DOF and coach together like we did with Santini and Arnesen. Rangnick can obviously spot coaches, let him pick who he wants.

Did a superb job at Wolfsburg this season. I watched some games and they are very solid. Finishing top 4 with them is a great achievement. Just 4 points behind nagelsman with a far limited squad.
