That was the plan at AC Milan, but they wound up getting cold feet about giving him that degree of control. Hard to imagine Levy doing that, but I'd support it.He can come as DOF and be the manager right now while he sets up the squad the way he wants. I would hope that eventually he would bring in a manager tp free him
I hope your not referring to Sanchez, because he gets rag dolled by tiny strikers
Brings in a sporting director to deal with Kane and be the bad guy.
Name namesIn midfield or across the entire squad?
I only watch the Premier League and Ligue 1, generally speaking. Bits and pieces of German football, so there is no encyclopaedic knowledge of the market on my part. I don't play any computer games.
There are players I absolutely do not want us to sign, players that are of interest to me (but hard to say they'd be a guarantee of success), and players I am on the fence about.
If there's secretly a deal in place for Kane, handing the keys over to an empowered DOF this summer starts to make more sense.Rangnick in as DOF/sporting director to helm the rebuild sounds fantastic if true.
Him or Campos.
I imagine the meeting would go like this:That was the plan at AC Milan, but they wound up getting cold feet about giving him that degree of control. Hard to imagine Levy doing that, but I'd support it.
Well that's part of what I'm saying.I imagine the meeting would go like this:
Rangnick: "I want to sell Kane to rebuild the squad."
Levy: "Well, thanks for coming in. Hope your flight home is pleasant."
Joe Lewis is not involved in running the club so I don't think he's too bothered as long as Ralph keeps the club running.Well that's part of what I'm saying.
Selling Harry Kane or not is a Joe Lewis-level decision that completely defines the on-and-off field future of the club. A DoF can't make that call, and the two choices on that call represent two totally different projects for the DoF. How do you hire someone to build a vision when you don't know what the vision is yet?
I'm sure he'll go along with Levy's view, but it's still a decision at his level.Joe Lewis is not involved in running the club so I don't think he's too bothered as long as Ralph keeps the club running.

What's my budget?!
Can't imagine he won't have a heavy hand in transfers and football operations regardless.
Kane Sanchez Dier Winks Foyth sold for £180M.
Whats Glasner all about? I've heard his name but know nothing of himRagnick basically uses football manager philosophy in real life. And it works with him. Glasner as manager with him?
Did a superb job at Wolfsburg this season. I watched some games and they are very solid. Finishing top 4 with them is a great achievement. Just 4 points behind nagelsman with a far limited squad.Whats Glasner all about? I've heard his name but know nothing of him
