TIFWIW, just got off the phone with my old college mate, who is from foggy London Town. He said, someone told him Conte was at Heathrow trying to catch an Uber.
The continent has always seemed smarter about free transfers than England to me.
Now, those leagues are a little bit friendlier to older players of course, but I think there is going to be a lot of opportunity out there over the next few windows and I am very very happy to have an experienced football person surveying the landscape, rather than Levy with Hitchen as his scouting yes-man always looking for the same sort of expensive, just-emerged "next big thing" that has become an over-priced resource.
Every Levy transfer begins with the same idea: this is the sort of player everyone else is after, but for some reason we have the selling club over a barrel and can squeeze a lower fee out of them. That's fishing in a very small pond.
I've been checking the flight status of Ryanair flights from Milan, but I don't think they have anything direct to Heathrow. Looks like they fly into Luton, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled...

Just seen new back to the future film. Set in 2041. Doc comes back in present year 2021 and says to marty mcfly 'great scott marty! Daniel levy has hired another coach and dof. No trophies still but confident this is definitely the right man'. 
I see names there that didn’t take much scouting analysis, ie they were players already well known (even young Pogba to a degree) maybe not Barzagli(?).
What was Paratuci’s actual role? Did he oversee all the sporting side - sporting philosophy, recruiting managers, scouting, signing players, academy ?

Skriniar, Hakimi and Belotti would be 3 great signings that we could probably get for relatively decent fees.
If we don’t go in hard again for Skriniar to lead our defence I’ll be very disappointed.
Don't think it happens because its Raiola. There are a ton of keepers that fit Conte's profile - he's not looking for someone like Pep has in Ederson.
Just watching it now. No real revelations as usual, but to be fair to him I do think he's very balanced in his views
