So there isn’t a financial crisis looming for Juve with overpaid players? Kinda thought that was the main reason you guys were pushing so hard for a Super League. Money aside, you believe Allegri has got enough there to win the title?
There is a financial crisis because the teams without the public have a lot of income. Juventus made a mistake in giving high salaries to 0 € players like Ramsey and Rabiot: now it is difficult to sell them. Similarly, CR7's salary is too big a mouthful.

Allegri with a few tweaks can do well. Consider that this year Dybala between COVID and injuries has always been out.

more referring to the specific negotiations with Conte.

if he doesn't like the offer it goes back to us to improve it. everyone relax. this one will happen there's a will on all sides.

it's just gonna be mon-tues.

From the reporting it sounds like the more Levy explains the project to him the less interested he becomes. Conte will want to challenge the top teams not just finish ahead of West Ham.

There have been a fair few on here slating the irate fans who are unhappy about this long slow drawn out affair. They are saying "look what the wait gets you. We're now in for Conte etc who wasn't available 3 weeks ago". Well what if this goes tits up as is looking likely? What do you lot say then when we're scrambling around for managers we should have tied down at the end of the season. In the meantime Everton, Wolves and possibly Palace could appoint our original targets. It's a fucking complete shambles.

If Conte follows up I'll expect nothing new. Even if we get Poch.

Essentially it means this whole "injection of funds" thing is bogus and false. It will be the same - sell used up assets (players who no longer cut it) and try to replace them with the same money. It literally cannot work. The value (outgoing) is necessarily less than (incoming). It is the pinnacle of a "selling" club. Selling clubs don't win silverware. They are the cucks of clubs who invest into the squad TO GENERATE FUNDS. Invest now for winning later, with all the funds that come from it.

I think this is out of the question. PSG clearly doesn't want to play ball, so Spurs might have to offer well above the value of his contract to get anywhere.

Well in terms of top managers it’s either Conte or Poch. Otherwise we are dipping into the unproven/fraud category with Potter, Ten Hag, Martinez, Parker etc.

After all the noise Levy has made over Conte and Poch it would be a humiliation to end up with a lesser name. Levy simply has to deliver after taking almost 2 months to get it done.

Hopefully if Paratici is done then he can persuade Conte to join. We can’t miss out now, it would be embarrassing. With the Kane saga in the background this might be the end of Levy if he doesn’t pull something out of the bag.

I’d imagine we might pay big to get Poch out of his contract should this fall through otherwise it’s humiliation for Levy even though Ten Hag and Potter are decent managers he has committed himself to a big name.
