Is there any benefit to Mendes, I mean are we at least able to sell 5-10 players we need out.
If we buy players from his book he will move the ones that we don’t want here anymore. It’s a game of giving and taking.

People question whether or not Levy is able to give over power to Paratici, theres no chance Mendes will get any.
My bet is more like we think we can use him, and sooner or later will fall out with him once he tries to wrest control of things.
Basically any player in the Portuguese league. And Mendes as relations with almost every other big agent in the game. I don’t like him but he makes things happen. And can inflate any sale. But there’s always his commissions. He’s a mobster.
Bits I have read in the past about him make him sounds like he has tentacles in every part of football. Not sure if it’s good to have him as an enemy or a friend.

From what I have read about him the past (might be BS) he has a large number of players but he also has control and influence on other agents. The ultimate fixer, he can make things happen or stop things. I guess Levy may think getting into bed with him can fix the squad cheaply who knows.

Demarai Gray is talented. Marcus Edwards is talented. Rachid Ghezzal is talented.
Guedes is talented but he's really not near the level of attacking player we need to be targeting if we want to compete for CL places or win trophies.
