Depressing stuff really.

I don't think the appointment of Nuno is too bad, I wouldn't say he was my first choice but he's certainly not the worst.

He's been consistent at all the clubs he's managed, he's Premier League proven with an average squad of players. When Wolves were promoted they were one of the best teams in the Premier League to watch, everyone enjoyed them, they were a breath of fresh air.

He's a good man manager, which I believe is what these players need.

My only fear is the Mendes link, so will be interested to see how that pans out.

I actually prefer him to a few of the candidates we’ve been linked with this summer. At least he’s proven in the PL.
 
On the positive side, this season I'll start with zero hope - so there is nothing to lose.

What an embarrassment we are as a football club. I obviously hope Nuno does well for the clubs sake but anybody deluding themselves into thinking this is a good appointment needs to have a word with themselves.

Levy is embarrassing, he believes Nuno will give us attacking, entertaining football?

More bullshit from the biggest conman in the PL, this is a desperation appointment if I have ever seen one, nobody else wants to join us that has PL experience because they know the job is doomed with the megalomaniac as chairman.

Look look, we have to get behind him. I think the best option is to build the team around Matt Doherty now. If we can get him playing good football he still might have a decent resale value and then we can try to bring in Moutinho if his wages aren’t a stumbling block however with COVID the club is in financial difficulty and obviously Nuno will definitely be given funds but Nuno doesn’t even want to buy anyone and thinks the squad is good enough so let’s get behind that.

our hands are tied unfortunately because of COVID. Buying players will be a huge problem due to our wage structure and balancing the books. We produce our own money through ticket sales hence the fantastic new stadium but COVID has made that impossible the past year.

but Nuno will definitely be given funds and Harry Kane money will be reinvested to fund player sales within reason so levy is ambitious and that attacking entertaining football will be back

My mate is a Wolves fan and he hated the football at Wolves last season. A poor version of Mourinho. Months to find a new manager who they could have appointed 2 months ago! Levy is a joke. Tottenham is a joke.
