Let's not also forget that at major tournaments, Scotland are the least successful of all the home nations plus the Rep. of Ireland, they've never been beyond the group stage of any major tournament despite some of the players they've had, hell, even Wales & N. Ireland, with their inferior domestic leagues and smaller population have gone further at Euros & World Cups.
Hell, probably the biggest moment in Scottish footballing history is beating England in 1967, something they still go on about to this day but in the same breath slag England fans off when they mention 1966.
