Even if there was a gentlemans agreement it still requires a suitable offer to come in for him. The general consensus at the moment though seems to be that City are focusing on Grealish and if that gets completed they won't bid for Kane this window.
It's stupid Harry trying to force a move when there aren't even any bids for him. He's doing himself no favours at all.

Even if true, Harry should take the high road and turn up to train. If he does that, and Levy goes back on this supposed promise, then everyone would support Harry and Levy would continue to be the bad guy.

All this does is put almost all fans on the side of the club and therefore Levy.

Yeah that's a fair point but I think within the club he has said something, just because we don't know about it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. There are a lot of assumptions as always with this stuff and my point only was that in my opinion he has earnt some leeway until we know all the facts.

At the end of the day he is probably going and has probably already said as much, the Neville interview was annoying and you are right about the transfer request. Guess we will just wait and see.

I am never on that leaches side. The fact City have not been done for their cheating is revolting.

You're absolutely correct, this is all on Levy and ENIC.

We're going through a rebuilding process but Kane hasn't got time to wait. He needs success now and let's be honest he's guaranteed trophies at City.

If Grealish goes there then they'll definitely have to sell before they can buy Kane. I don't imagine there will be too many of their players that would be interested in coming here as part of any deal, at least not any of the good ones.

We're in a mess and right now set to have our worst season for quite some time.

I disagree, that contract is his reward for 6 years of great service. Nothing wrong in that, he's earned it. But it's likely no other top club is offering him more money while being able to pay the transfer fee and also match things like bonuses, image rights etc. Staying is the right business move for him.

I know people think i'm a cynic, so be it but it will save a lot of people much heart-ache if they realize these players are all businessmen and i'm not even saying that's a bad thing. It's a short career, you do what you think is right for you.

My first hero at Spurs was Pat Jenning and he broke my heart ,so i shouldnt be surpised.
Footballing heroes should only be made so in hindsight,when their careers have ended .Treat them like the mercenaries that ,in most cases they are.Enjoy the goals etc,but don't expect the love for the club we have.I have no probelm with HArry wanting trophies,we all do.But he could have done this so differently.Put in a transfer request,he is hardly short of a few quid and could get by without his "loyalty" bonus.Grealish allegedly has.
As for the so called gentlemans agreement, he knows Levy and knows what he's like.
No sympathy.

Sterling is leaving but I doubt that will raise much

this is the bit people don't seem to grasp, a gentlemans agreement doesn't mean we let City tickle our balls and have him for a tenner and a bag of chips.
Kane isn't dumb he knows this, he's just playing the cunt.
The fact he seems to be jumping into bed with Sly Sports leaves a bad taste in the mouth

I think you kind of are on this occasion. Might make you feel dirty but if Harry has made this play then all Spurs fans should be hoping Levy screws as much money as he can for Spurs.

Agree about City though. It's blatant now yet apparently stopping the ESL saved football.
