Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

While I understand that some people think that others are overreacting and are very willing to look past this with Harry, I think we need to remember that this isn't just about the fans and him.

He is/was the vice-captain of the team and his actions have had to have a significant impact on morale and planning for the entire team. A week has now gone by that could have been used to work on tactics, formations, and working with new players. We have a new coach that still hasn't been able to meet with him face to face and now has a significantly larger challenge in trying to plan for the season that is rapidly approaching. He has set back the entire team by at least a week at this point, and at a minimum he has disrupted the entire dressing room by his actions here. If not for the reasons already listed, it would also be the personal relationships and team building that we desperately need. He has isolated himself from the rest of the team and told them before a ball is kicked that he doesn't want to play alongside them anymore.

I understand the emotional aspect of wanting to give him a chance and the appeal of wanting to brush it under the rug, but doing so in such a willing manner undermines the impact of what he has just done.

"as planned" my ass. If that was the plan Nuno would have said there are no problems and Harry will be back on Saturday instead of this:

"We have to first of all solve the problems ourselves, then I will speak to you.

It's not that I don't want to comment, what I believe is all this issue in relation to everything should be discussed internally, among us. Let's try to avoid any kind of public argument or discussion about it. We have to focus on what is important, solve the situation, between us.

We will solve the situation internally, with the club speaking and trying to reach a better solution and a conclusion to the situation."

Harry's management team is very incompetent.

Harry is simply a bit thick, does he really think we will believe that it was “planned” for him to return on Saturday?

The club was expecting him on Monday and he never showed up. It’s taken him 5 days to say anything, he thinks we are all as thick as him. He could have responded on Monday if it were a genuine misunderstanding. This statement is just a standard bit of waffle to try and soak up the piss he drenched us in, just in case his worst nightmare comes true and he has to put on our shirt and turn out for our terrible little club which has played as many CL finals as Manchester City.

You literally typed that I have said "we will sign no-one good", despite me saying all along that Romero is a very good signing, and that Gil is promising too. So yeah, you're talking shit as per.

(You understand what paraphrasing is I'm sure....)

No; it just means that you had to be reminded of the level of the players we'd been signing amist your "we're a crap team that can't attract quality" declarations and you have since 'climbed down' a bit from our original protestations..... Not unlike when we were talking about the Chavs squad; claiming they were all world class after the friendly.... Not unlike when you went in on The Absolute GOAT The Absolute GOAT goat for being Welsh and had to later appologise.... Not unlike.. etc etc.

I think you're good value mate, but friendly advice would be to chill somewhat.

There’s nothing wrong with what he is saying. He is basically saying if Tottenham don’t want to sell Kane, they keep him. Not sure why you guys are getting worked up.
Huh? He’s basically saying Tottenham are holding firm on a price, AS THEY SHOULD, and we aren’t bending the knee to the almighty oil barons of City. He’s mad we won’t negotiate for lower than what Harry is worth.

No one forced him to sign that contract.

Yes we have crap owners but that’s a separate argument!

Kane is a disgrace

Didn't say they did BUT at the time we seemed like a club going places, in the CL, competitive team, a top manager, about to move into a brand new stadium but since then we've gone backwards and he might like to win a trophy before he hits 30.

He's guaranteed to win medals at City and will be working under one of the greatest managers of all time. At Spurs his manager will be Nuno. In the past three years we've gone from CL finalists to being the Conference League. We may get back into the Top 4 at some point but it's unlikely to be anytime soon.

Be bitter, angry, whatever, these are, as Rafa would say, facts and undeniable ones at that.

£130m and we move on. Playing silly buggers didn't work in the last and it's foolish to think it will work this time.

Sky love stirring it all up.

Tossers
Proper fucking Tabloid Tossers....

Just fast forward 10 years, when they have to somehow sell a 4 team Ultra Premier League of Man City, Chelsea, Utd and probably Real Madrid or PSG who will sell their souls to be part of it.... playing eachother 16 times a season!

The other 88 league clubs can sort it out between themselves, eh?

Careful what you wish for cunts!

I only apologised because it clearly bothered him. It was my mistake to think that it wouldn't so I apologised. Big deal.

And feel free to quote me where I've said that we're a crap team that can't attract quality, that you keep going on about. What I have actually said is that we're a club in need of a major clear out, a club about to lose what has been our best player for years, and a club that still has too much average dross cluttering the squad. Feel free to disagree by all means, but you keep making up fucking quotes that I've never actually said. I don't recall me once ever saying "We're crap". Or are you paraphrasing as usual?

And if you don't see that Chelsea have a much better first 11 and squad than we do right now then you're absolutely deluded. It's one thing to be biased as fuck, but sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.

Honestly I think the media and the sad pathetic Twitter trolls have duped us fans, the vitriol directed at Kane has been quite unfair over a rumor that he skipped training. Seems like he had a reasonable excuse and he does really need as much of a rest as possible. It’s quite ironic that the fans talk about how players have no loyalty yet the first sniff of some bullshit DailyMail rumor about skipping training and the fans turn on Harry. Mob mentality and Twitter nonsense at its worst is what I have witnessed over the past week. Football has really lost its head with this clickbait fueled crap and 24 hr news cycle.

SSN are one tit short of a full frontal nudey pic....
They just want clicks/likes/publicity!

They're telly sluts of the lowest order, and will do anything to get attention from boys.... they may as well flash their knickers in the school playground!

Situation #1 where you 'climbed down'

I shouldn't have to start reeling out quotes a pocket of us have been debating this stuff all afternoon.... If we're all being honest with ourselves we all know what was said/implied/argued. (This thread is growing at a crazy rate; i'll be fucked if I'm going back to disect it all on the basis of an obstinate "no I didn't".)

You found yourself 'climbing' down after being exposed to a calmer rhetoric. Situation #2.

You yourself at the end of it conceeded to have been "very loose" (my words used at the time) in describing "all their players" (your words at the time) as world class. Situation #3.

There have been others.....

Lets move on shall we.

What are you on about?

The guy was in Florida when he was meant to be in training.
Nuno said it's an internal matter, obviously Kane's story that he hadn't missed training was BS.

Pretty sure I corrected myself very soon after and said that what I meant was that they have a world-class squad, and not that individually they are world-class in every position. But yeah, what one person might consider to be world-class another won't, that's nothing strange.

But you won't quote me simply because I never said anything that you're actually saying that I said, simple as that. Calling our squad bang average isn't the same as saying that we're crap. Saying that we can't attract world-class players isn't the same as saying we can't sign anyone good. We've already made a few good signings potentially. We need four or five more.

DM if you wanna continue.....

We need four or five more.

The more the merrier.
