So all you have to contribute are short and retorical questions. Well, okay guess you have nothing more to say.
But in this instance I can answer your questions -
Does strength, pace and dribbling ability win matches? - no. Goals do.
Are you fucking serious? - absolutely.
You literally sound like a guy who would prefer player who would burst past all of the opposition defenders. Then stop and wait until defenders get back. Then dribble through again. Then wait them again. Dribble past them for 3rd time and then run out of the play with the ball. It would be more entertaining than actually one effective run that results in goal or assist. Cause the former would have 3 succesful dribbles and latter only 1, right.
Already pointed it out - we have made the same mistake before in Sissoko - physically strong and rather quick player who is capable of carrying the ball. How well did this turn out for us, if he was missing all other attributes?
People here massively seem to get off mark when they start some Bale talks.
If question is - "would we benefit from new prime Bale?" - answer is - absolutely we would!!!
But one more question needs to be asked "is Traore the player for this role" - answer is - absolutely not, not even close. He is not 1/5 of the player Bale was. Bale had that shot and game reading ability that sets apart footballers and athletes. Traore does not. And players don't magically develop such key skills while being 25 or 26. They. Just. Dont. Though maybe this sentence had too many numbers for you - sorry for that.
If it happens game after game, season after season, its him - not them.
The idea he is doing everything right and its just the forwards letting him down just doesnt work.

One thing I thought was a big plus (if we signed him) is look how many of his assists (which would have been in his only productive season) were goals for Jiminez inside the 6 yard box or around the penalty spot. His crosses/cut backs were very good. They weren't just an assist where he passes the ball and the guy he passed to pings it from 30 yards. So the quality of the chances created/assists looked very good in this period.
Traore might have kept up that production had Jiminez not got his head smashed in. And Kane is levels above Jiminez.
Something to ponder.

Absolutely not. He’s very fast and direct so that’s what people like about him. He’s nearly 26 and he only has a handful of goals and assists under his belt. His end product is woeful but the fact that he’s fast means he’s always getting into good positions. He would create more room for our other, better finishing, players but it’s a resounding no from me. All flash and nothing more

That is a good point. People equate winning = playing better which is silly.
Heres a poker example.
If you go all in with 27 and the other guy with AA , but the other cards then make a fullhouse for you and you win that does not mean you played better. You just got very very lucky while playing like shit. We were definitely not the better side yesterday.
