If we keep our current pace, yes we will.
Our entire debate boils down to this point that we basically agree on: Levy has been shit at recruiting footballers. When he had a lesser role in directly selecting the players to pursue, we generally had a good success rate at identifying and signing players who improved the squad and improved in value. When he's taken a stronger hand in things, we're struggled to identify and sign players who can improve the squad and improve in value.
My point all along (and, laboriously, for years) is that, contrary to what many incessantly claim, what holds us back isn't that Levy is cheap or we need more money. Look at the players we've broke our transfer record for recently - Soldado, Lamela, Sanchez, Ndombele - all flops (though Sanchez may right the ship...maybe). So when we have pushed the boat out there, we've completely shit the bed. Why does anyone, then, believe that more spending is the answer?
What holds us back is that Levy spends like shit and can't identify footballers to save his life. Whats doomed us has been his inability to recognize and acknowledge this weakness.
And he's not my boy. Levy is a cunt, I've said it probably a million times. Just because I don't think we should bankrupt Lewis to try and go along with the financial dopers ruining football, doesn't mean I like or approve of Levy.

Still not quite sure what the point of Cameron Carter Vickers is/was!
We don't seem to trust him with a run in the first team... yet seem reluctant to let him go...

Maybe he's just a sweet, lovely guy we didn't want to see leave us.... but not quite good enough to allow to play for us!
