Match Palace v Spurs 11th Sept 12:30 - Selhurst Park

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Luckily I had to head out so missed the second half.

Obviously Nuno's hand was forced somewhat by Tanganga's red but it's pretty criminal neither Gil nor Ndombele saw game time.

The Winks, Skipp, Dele and Hojbjerg midfield was the complete shitshow we expected it to be but pretty cowardly from Nuno not to switch anything up at half time when it clearly wasn't working.

Whole lot of athleticism for Palace on this small pitch...and they have a wee bit of quality albeit young quality. Add in this awesome home support and they may even overcome the taint of Veira's management. Comms just said we were "well-beaten". Sad!
They won’t do this against half the teams in the PL this season. We just laid down from the start and handed them the initiative with our selection and tactics. Perphetic! Regression since jose ball mk 1.0.

Why not just tangay some minutes. Nuno is a dick for completely discarding him and he does have the balls now to play otherwise he loses face. Nose/spite me thinks.
If he wasn’t going to trust him why out him in the bench

If any game needed a change of direction which required his input this was it

Honeymoon well and truly over

Winks should never have started

Joke player

Sorry, but that doesn't make sense.
I am asking.yoi to explain why you think I have a bad attitude for the comment I made earlier to Don Corleone Don Corleone . Sure, I shouldn't have sworn and I apologise but I explained why I disagreed with his comment.

So I am asking you for the same courtesy.
I suspected that you also wouldn't reply to me as you'd said you didn't care....I was wrong so fair play but I don't have a bad attitude....football has highs and lows, this was a low.

Hopefully this is clear enough now?

If you want Chubbs to respond he likes to be tickled

We can point the finger at players as much as we want, but this is on Nuno, and I like the bloke.

Far too passive from minute 1. At half time I said to the Old man that we needed to change the momentum. I'd have swapped Dele for Gil and Winks for Ndombele as we needed to put pressure on them, get an out all in Gil and look for him to push their RB back, have Ndombele breaking the press centrally. We have both Skipp and PEH on the pitch, so the protection was there that would have allowed Ndombele some license to get in amongst them. I feel both players would have given CP questions to answer but, as it was, we gave them nothing except momentum. They were asking all the questions.

Even with Tanganga sent off, we still needed to do something to change the dynamic out there, but it would have meant some bravery.

Sadly it was bravery that was lacking today from the manager.
Looked like a deer in headlights
