Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Super pen Bryan Gil. Lovely player, works hard, hopefully see more G/A from him as he learns how Son/Kane play, and they him.

Skipp our motm for me, did a bit of everything, think he's feeling his way into the speed of the game at the top(ish) level and hopefully becomes more confident and expressive as the season goes on. It's what he did last season.

Ndombele is a tosser, unfortunately he's a tosser with exceptional ability who we pay 200kpw. Down to management and mostly himself to find consistency and improve his fitness/mentality. Try make the most of him for one more year, assess as the season goes on and figure out what to do with him at the beginning of next summer.

Romero/Sanchez/Dele/Gio not great. Tanganga/Davies/Kane decent to good.

Created more than our opponents, playing and improved brand of football (loads still to work on but we’re not camped on our fucking box) deserved win.

Some poor defending for both of their goals, the first more annoying as it changed the game state, gone from cruising to now playing a game.

But we didn’t fold, still played.

Man of the Match for me was Skipp! His best game in a Spurs shirt.

I don't care if we win or not at the moment, as long as it's entertaining football, like some of the stuff today or in the 1st half v Chavs, I'll take it. I just want us to play "The Tottenham Way" again after a while...
I gave you an agree because I know what you mean about playing attractive footie, but really I DO f88king care if we win too.

Bit of a mess, but quite fun. We played some decent stuff at times and had more/better situations than them, but there were phases where it all got fucking baggy.

Skipp and Gil come out with some credit I think, Ndombele did some good things but also fucked about a few times, Romero is salty, but fuck me, that was schoolboy stuff for their second.

Cracking game. We got sloppy but we won at the end of the day, a nice little confidence booster for the more important game at the weekend. Hopefully Harry can take his performance into that one as we we're unlikely to win unless he plays well.
I don't think it's much of a confidence booster when your first team cant beat Wolves B over 90 mins.

Again like Chelsea, started well and then the mental frailties reared up again.

We had two guilt edge chances but Wolves were the ones pushing at the end. We should be putting teams like this away.

Should never have let it get to Penalties but whilst expecting to lose at penalties so good to win it. Kane & Ndombele only really 2 that played 90 mins that is a problem for Sunday. Much better display and Wolves were stronger than some saying. Lloris, Regulion, Dier, Son, Hojbjerg, Emerson all mainly rested. Lo Celso only played 62 mins as well. Gil & Skipp young and should be Ok if needed. Problem is Kane & Ndombele and not sure I would start Ndombele but with Moura injured no choice but to play Kane until he gets injured or drops through exhaustion.

Wasn't a B team at all. They had a few first-teamers starting, and a couple of players that have been first teamers. And also captain Coady came on pretty early. Wolves will give most teams a game this season at home. They'll be pushovers for nobody.

Well, there's a curate's egg of an assessment.
