Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We did. RESPECT THE COCK RESPECT THE COCK todd1882 todd1882 myself, several others, maybe not as loudly as you Sammy!

For me it's not 'don't rate' just a crumbling body I see before me, who cannot bring the vibrancy I want with quick perpetual movements from 3/4 at least of attacker players, whilst attacking, where as Kane almost always stops when getting the ball, or once on the ball.

This might not be soo bad, except our team are constantly looking for H, so we are trying to find a far too often static target, who also won't contest any header unless a big game and is poor at bringing down long balls (as his suppleness and athleticism is largely now shot and poor from youth anyway).

He's a great player, at City will probably score a bucket load (or wherever he goes), if they can afford him to just move into position to smash goals in, but, in most modern tactics which need gestalt type team play he just doesn't fit, he'll charge towards a defender, or run back, but can't consistently or with any conviction as we all know he's running scared of injury and piss poor cardio.

Would start Son, or Gil as false 9, if in Nuno's shoes. Give Harry some time on the bench to recover after lots of games and a lot of mental energy spent regarding his situation.

Soo sad.
Fine I’m glad you agreed but we’re too scared to back me up lol

City don’t want Kane, try and remember that part. There is nobody bidding for Kane, because they watch him, and then they watch the likes of Haaland.

Nobody can deny that Kane has been VERY poor this season. He is getting 20-30 touches per game and looks disinterested.

Our focus needs to be getting Kane back into form - not dropping him.

I'm from the US and I dont understand this "ambition" angle for players.

In the US, if you leave and sign on to a loaded team, you get criticized and called a "cupcake." LeBron had to return to Cleveland and win a trophy there to establish his legacy. He also signed one and one contracts in Cleveland to ensure management would spend money and reload with talent. Dirk Nowitzki is revered for his one championship in the one team he played with. Watch Giannis's press conference after he won the title. I dont get the praise for players wanting to join superteams and any criticism given to players wanting to build and grind with the team that gave them their start (he lacks ambition 🙄).

The media seem to love bought and paid for success.....

They don't seem to value earned success through hard work and building something.

There is no authenticity left in football as many of the players have little to no connection with the clubs they're playing for other than the amount of money they get paid to do so.

A player who will walk over hot coals for his club is such a rarity these days when it used to be quite common in football.

I think City are going to break the bank for Haaland this next summer in wages and fee. Maybe RM or PSG will join the fray too. Point being: Levy effed this up- the time to sell Kane for max value was this season and not next when he'd have seriously reduced value and interest due to Haalands situation.

Most top teams don’t want a Gary Lineker, they want explosive strikers, like Kane used to be

Igula Igula - see?????

People don't tend to mean bankruptcy when they say this. Perhaps you're just not socially versed enough to understand these things.....

Still..... Curling. :mourthumb:

Of course any striker will score more in a better team than a worse one. Theres nothing genius about pointing that out.

Talk like a normal person, the bolded bit just makes you look like a little pussy.

I never said it was genius, you fucking numpty. But he clearly wasn't getting my point as he kept waffling on about how many goals Haaland would score when that clearly had nothing to do with the point I was making.

Also Origi effectively won the CL by ending any chance of a Spurs win……..where as Kane didn’t touch the ball for 90 minutes

So it's Kane's fault that our entire team was shit in that game? In what was a pretty poor final from both sides. Or that Pochettino picked him while clearly not fit, and not Harry himself?

The village idiot from nearby has rolled into town.

Poch was a fool for picking him and Me Me Me Kane showed that he felt his personal experience was more important than the club by claiming to be fit and match ready when he wasn’t.

Do you think it’s park football and they just turn up and wait to see who’s picked?
There would have been dialogue for weeks.

The two of them fucked us up.
And here you go again…..no it’s not Kane’s fault that others were shit. That’s their own fault.
Just like it’s Kane’s fault when he is shit.

Ridiculous “Sissoko did a handball so Kane couldn’t have a shot” lol

A few weeks ago I got loads of disagrees when I suggested we should sell Kane to City for £120 million. Bet I wouldn't get as many if I suggested it tonight.
They never offered £120 million though, they offered £75m by all accounts.
That's a fair difference in valuation to bridge and they didn't bridge it.

I think most people would have begrudgingly accepted it if the club sold for £150m and re-invested it all back in players in the summer.

But as that was never on the cards we are where we are.
