I'm convinced that if we roll in with an offer for Potter he will come.

Yeah he's riding high with Brighton right now but this is Spurs, the stadium the history, the chance to work with players like Kane and Son. Surely that would be a once in a lifetime chance for Potter?

I can't see him turning us down, for all the clubs problems.

Having said that we would have to buy him out of his Brighton contract and that means £££ so Levy will turn his nose up.
I foresee him ending up at Leicester.

My prediction is Kane gets untracked and scores some goals, the team wins a few games now and again, and management uses the occasional success to rationalize keeping Nuno the rest of the season. Under pressure people revert to their established habits and, in Nuno's case, I think he'll try get back to his defensive stategies and play games not to lose. It will be boring, it will be unproductive, and it will set the team back a year but that's where we are. And I think Kane will get his wish in the next transfer window. Levy will keep Paratici, keep Nuno until the off season, and write it all off as a rebuilding year.
I'm of to slash my wrists after reading that.

So you want Nuno to show more passion on the touchline?

If we get Howe or whomever until the end of the season, and they are more animated on the touchline it doesn't mean we're going to be playing better or winning more.

To me the problem seems to be the players, they ought not need Nuno to gee them up to play a NLD.

Another problem imo is that our best player doesn't want to be here, and we don't have many options to sub him with, which will be the same for Eddie Howe or whoever.

We don't know if LevyParatici aren't interfering with team tactics and selections.
Ive heard this bullshit on a few platforms about how Paritici is picking the team. If it is true why didn't he start any of the players he bought in the summer on Sunday? Come on mate. Wise up

We won't find out as relegation is the one thing that probably keeps Levy awake at night. He definitely won't let Nuno stay long enough to let it happen.
but if he did, it would.

Friendly bet Nuno is gone before the January window.
I think he's gone next week. There's far too many rumblings. He's going to play a strong team Thursday because his job is at risk and I can see us suffering Sunday because of it.

This genuinely is incredible stuff. What kind of manager with any bit of credibility comes into a club and just abandons his own philosophy and views on football just to pander to the crowd?

Also, this whole thing of “the club told me their philosophy” is the biggest crock of shit ever.
We don’t have a philosophy as a club. One of ENICs biggest failures is that they have been here 20 years yet we don’t have any football identity as a club. You get the yearly statement from Levy about “Tottenham DNA” but it’s complete bollocks.

We hire attacking managers and replace them with defensive managers. We hire DOFs and we sack them and repeat. We sign old players and young players, as long as they’re cheap. There’s no structured philosophy that filters through from our academy, which is also rubbish.
The closest we ever came to having an identity as a club under ENIC was when Pochettino single handedly attempted to shape it himself.

Football identity takes a complete back seat for ENIC as balancing the books will always take precedence, and that will ultimately mean we will never amount to anything with them as our owners.

These are the words of someone who firstly, is annoyed and secondly, realises they're not going to be about for long.

Nuno is not the right fit for this club. He needs to go.

But fuck me we have a bunch of cunts running the show. And some of the players can fuck off too.
Expect the lazy players who want Nuno sacked to down tools on Sunday and not play as good as they can. This will happen over and over again with any new manager who comes next.

Yeah, I mean with Jose at least there was still a fire of "fuck you I'm awesome and we're going to be better". I hated the "same manager, different players" stuff, but at least he was pushing his own path. He wasn't the right fit and I wanted him out at the end, but Nuno has already resigned it seems.

There was some argument on why you should keep Jose at least until the end of the season, I don't see what could change for Nuno at this point. Both the club and the manager seem to think he's gone, so what's the point of continuing?

Yes let’s sack him. And then appoint Mason for a few months. And then get angry with him for losing every game. And then call for him to be sacked.

Where does this stop? We have trust Nuno and his vision, it’s not his fault Harry is out of form and that we’ve had players missing.
Tactics are his fault and the players aren’t helping by their attitude but they don’t know what they’re doing and that’s on Nuno
