Europa League goals are borderline irrelevant, there I'll say that if Beech Beech can't!

If EL goals meant anything, Nicolas Pepe would've been great last season and Borja Mayoral would be an actually useful striker. They don't, you play against loads of rubbish sides with squads worth about 10m in total, and even just half decent players can fill their boots.

Yes, spot on. I think a large part of Kane's decline is because of injuries. He's just not the same player anymore in my view. I was watching older games/highlights and he looks world's apart from what he used to be. He actually had decent explosiveness and was pretty mobile for his size.

2019 - 18 goals
2020 - 23 goals

My stance has always been that, he's declined since the 17-18 season. From 29 to 30 PL goals to 17, 18, and 23 goals. He looks even worse this season with 1 goal in 7 apps.

Also, 5 goals in 25 apps against the big 4 PL sides since the 17-18 season is poor.

He's still good at scoring against inferior/average teams, but against good opposition, he gets dominated. Great players score and deliver at a good rate regardless of who they're playing.

He's gone from being a elite striker to a flat track bully.

Decline = go down, yet Kane has got better every year since 2018 ... and here's the thing, if you actually watched Spurs you'd know that 2017/18 was the season where Kane stopped playing just as an out and out striker and instead started to develop his role as a provider not just a goal scorer

Prior to 2018/19 he had a total of 14 EPL assists over 5 seasons since then he's had 20 assists in just three seasons not a decline but in reality a rapid incline ...

Your failed attempt to select one data set over an incredibly short time span, ignore all the other relevant factors that make up a world class striker, and then concluded quite wrongly that Kane is somehow a flat-track-bully?

It's a total abject fail ... give it up.

Kane is still a world class player and one of the best strikers on the planet. No ifs, no buts. It’s just a fact. Put him a team/squad actually capable of winning trophies like City for instance, you would see Harry score bucket loads and against the top teams regularly. The reason Spurs haven’t won trophies isn’t because of Harry Kane.
