Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Lingard would be good business with minimal transfer fee given he can go for free in the summer. His wages of 130k a week is fine if he performs. If he doesn’t we have another reserve on a comparatively high wage. It’s a risk, but at least you don’t risk the transfer fee.

I like the idea of buying the best players from Celtic and Rangers. If you ignore the Scottish players who tend to be crap, they seem to be a good breeding ground for quality overseas imports on the cheap. I’m think Dembele (we were linked with him before his move to Lyon) and Van Diik (He was the best defender in Scotland and went to Southampton for 5 mil or something). There are plenty of duds in Scotland (see comment above on Scottish players) but a few gems.

for me getting rid of nuno is a must, sell kane we have to do it

i really want wirtz from leverkusen but that ship has sailed, sarr has to be a must attainable from watford

we need a good cam too tops would be wirtz but we may have to go down a tier sadly

Trippier is apparently interested in coming back in January, he is 31. We should do that deal as well in my - probably not very popular - opinion.
Likely better than both we have now, but have doubts ENIC or indeed he would fancy it much after the way it finished up.

Ended up a 'Champo' player after all and got the last laugh on a few posters here by winning La Liga and being one of Atletico's best players. Thought he would have done really well under Jose tbh, right side had so much space and Aurier usually wasted it.

The last thing we need are fairweather players like Dembele. If he can't motivate himself to train hard to play for Barcelona, does anyone really think he will do it for Spurs? There were so many reports from a while back that he was far more interested in gaming than football.

Fantastically talented player, but another who would spend more time on the treatment table than on the pitch.

Dembele could form an awesome partnership at Spurs with Dele.

On the gaming I mean. Not on the field.

Gazzeta Dello Sport claims that Spurs are the favourites to land Corentin Tolisso from Bayern on a free next summer.

Pros: He'd add a player that can be both defensive and creative to our midfield. He is a good player.

Negs: He has a fairly big injury history so we would have to make sure that he stays fit.
