Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So this is about ego then? Should have known.
But unless you disagree that Kane has been playing shit, then you agree with him

What’s the point in people arguing against all the time and then saying “I know Kane has been shit”

It’s like you know you were wrong to abuse people for their views, see they were right, but have to be right anyway even though you now agree with us “west ham and crystal palace, Woolwich Asian fans”

Kane would be far better off staying at Hotspur Way to work with Conte for the next two weeks rather than going away with England. They don't need him to play against Albania and San Marino.
Yeah let’s get him shape for his dream January transfer at our facilities and expense

Fuck that, go and travel you’re the “best striker on the planet”

If Kane isn’t fit then he’s showing yet again how selfish he is by not admitting it and getting himself in shape. There is no way any professional manager asks the player “are you good to go” he says “no” and is then forced out there anyway.

If he’s fit for us, he can fuck off to Eastern Europe and be fit for England

Top assister too, but yeah he was fully in decline all of last season!

He had two off seasons due to ankle injuries, last year was the most productive player in the Premier League by a distance. Even in his off seasons he would've been on course for 20+ league goals despite injuries.

This is his only genuinely bad season at the club, and it's not even a full season. So yes, I think it's a blip.
I’ve shown you the clubs he performed against (some of those performances were crap, he just managed to score in them) and it’s been outlined to you that his decline started against big teams, and he’s never been a player for the biggest games anyway.

Last season, Son was good too, but that doesn’t mean shit this season and rightly so.

I don’t care that Kane destroyed Brighton and Burnley in 2020. His head isn’t in it, his physical state is abysmal and so is his football, right here right now and has been all season bar a standard good performance against Newcastle.

Let’s not wank over that either, they are going down this season and he was nothing more than good that day

This is Kane without the goals against shite
Nothing

If there was ever a time to call something a fluke, it was that 11 game purple patch at the beginning of last season. Spurs were on top of the tables and both Son and Kane will never replicate what they did there. Kane is a 3-5 assist a season type of player so getting 14 assists mostly from Son's fluke worldies will never happen again.

Outside of that 11 game purple patch, I don't remember Kane doing to much to be honest and we looked pretty average as a team.

Also, Kane was shit against good opposition last season as was the case the prior two seasons before that. All declines start with a player playing like shit against good opposition and it spirals downwards from there. We're just seeing him lose yet another step from his peak meaning he'll probably continuously struggle against average PL defenders now.

Kane scores penalties and tap ins against shit teams for the better part of the last 3+ years and he's world class.

Son, Moura or another player scores and their goals are flukes or a result of bad goalkeeping/defending etc.

Deuterz Deuterz 's world class logic there for you.

Has to be said, Kane has looked to be a very poor player in recent months.

- No longer attacks aerial balls
- No pace
- Slow to pass the ball, seems undecided
- Non existent hold up play
- Never in the box attacking balls

I feel that he is scared to fight for the ball and is instead opting to drop back and seek easy balls.

Having a central striker that won't fight for the ball has resulted having no threat going forward. Long balls are easily won by the center backs and the opposition doesn't allow room in behind for runs. Kane drops deep to seek the ball and as a result we have nobody up top to receive it. We ping it out to the wings for a cross, but Kane doesn't get into the box to attack it. All of our players seem scared to enter the 18 yard box!!!

This Kane shit is a bit OTT. Think most fans can see something is up he doesn't look fit and isn't having enough shots or getting the chance to have shots.

The team and him are woefully out of form. To suggest that Kane just scores tap ins and penalties is wide off the mark. Think he score 4 penalties last year.

Il take my centre forward scoring tap ins all day long as it's an indication that the team is creating chances. When was the last time he had a tap in ?

He's out of form.

Went through this before
The general consensus is:

“2-4 assists a season over five years not the norm”

“11 assists in 11 games is the norm”

“4 assists in 38 games since is not the norm”

Think he needs to miss these internationals, pick up a phantom injury and get his head into with Conte.

(Don't usually like players doing it but think it's needed)

When you see Vitesse, Palace and Newcastle defenders calmly pinging the ball the ball around between them with Kane 1 meter away it says everything

These teams watch videos

They know there is zero threat or effort from Kane

Nearly all of his goals in the ECL have been from within 3-5 out from goal.

Looks great against ECL competition getting on the scoresheet with a lot of easy goals, but unfortunately gets bullied by average PL competition.
So the team created some good chances and he put them away.

Where are these chances in other games?

He has a part to play in our form but he isn't the only one.

Yes we should as we clearly aren't creating enough chances.
But people are lauding the new Kane who plays deep and creates like some kind of Pirlo when it suits them.
So if Kane’s “improved and mature” deeper role is supposed to be making him into an assist king, then I guess he’s not doing that either.

And then, while denying he’s a flat track bully people ask where’s all the balls for him to tap home?

How can the team create for a striker who is on the wing or behind them?
The game and even this team is passing him by.

The Lo Celso shot onto the post, Skipp declined Kane in space and picked out another player. Moura and Son have also been doing this a lot, I mentioned it a few weeks ago.

They know there is no real point passing to Kane. Stop. Check back. Fall over.

Theres nothing wrong with Kane. Low on morale, sure. Exhausted for carrying spurs for the past 6 years. Definitely.

But at the end of the day, give Kane the service and he will score goals. Our midfield is atrocious. We also need, for the first time in 10 years, another quality striker. Imagine having TWO quality strikers instead of relying on 1 every season

Look at the stats on Premier League app.

Big chances created
Sonny-0
Moura-1
Kane -3
Kane has created 3 big chances the most from our squad it just isn't good enough from him or the rest of the team.

Big chances missed -
Kane -3
Son-4
Moura-1

I only put the forwards as can't be arsed. But the other players stats are no better. I get that stats don't paint the full picture but we really are disjointed up top and I don't think it's just Kane he's part of it but not the only part.
